“The only thing celebrities owe the rest of us is that they give a 100% effort doing whatever we pay them to do. Dead stop. They do not OWE us pictures or anything else... These self-righteous fans and paparazzi just don't get that, do they?”

“Huh? What? Maybe you could explain your remarks about the headline to the Neanderthals like me?”

“The title of the article from the front page said, "Drake OUT" (with the "out" in all caps). The title of the article once you click it is, "Drake Cancels Grammy's Appearance".
Not sure who's decision it was but someone thought it would either be funny or incite more clicks if it read like Drake was coming OUT of the closet.
Either way it was clearly intentional and, again, I'm sure their goal is to hit a certain click rate so the easiest way to do that is to title an article in a very harmless, cheeky way to get more people to click on it.
They succeeded and my guess is 70% or more of the comments will regard the front page title, which in turn could spark Google searches, which in turn could spark a tweet from Drake that he's not gay, which in turn will spark an interview with Good Morning America, which will continue to keep the LGBT community in the spotlight.
“Yes... there is too easy access to guns. Yes... he was possibly mentally disturbed.
Bigger Question... why are American responses to things so innately violent?...Look at the day-to-day language used on TV (Parking WARS, etc., etc. ) How 'bout addressing the fear and anger just bursting thru the seams of society?
These acts don't just come out of nowhere?”
“The people who disagree with her on this have obviously not seen the MSNBC documentary she narrated called "Hubris"... about the lies that led to attacking Iraq, based on deliberately distorted information about (non-existent) WMDs.
They obviously have also not heard or read former president Eisenhower's warning about letting the "military-Industrial establishment" weasel its way into every aspect of politics.
Those former military types from various wars who somehow move into positions of power in certain big American corporations really have everyone by the you-know-whats, don't they?”

“So lovely in every way and just beginning to really BE and to really make a difference in the world.
How lucky her boys were that she was their mother and at every opportunity took them to see how "the other half" lived.
An amazing woman, gone too soon.”
“You are absolutely correct and because of Tesla's "difficult" personality and Edison's ability to schmoose with the rich and powerful, Edison won out.
Would like to see a movie or a mini-series about this. Thanx for the article!”

“Edison wasn't totally ethical and probably took credit for some of the things Tesla was responsible for when he worked for Edison. Luckily when Edison went head to head with Tesla on the AC vs. DC debate he made clear who the greater genius was. Now a century removed, we can clearly see that Tesla had the superior mind. Don't forget that Tesla invented the AC motor which remains virtually unchanged to this day.”
