“I guess it depends in this situation it seems to me that they are using religion as a reason. Religion can be used as a tool to alter thinking and behaviour patterns. If a woman believes that God wishes her to be punished for her behaviour than it is abuse.
It seems to me that the preacher and the husband get to decide what misbehaviour is and what punishment needs to be doled out......................again abuse”
