“cascade fresh yogurt had much less sugar but they went out of business. that led to my search for a yogurt that wasn't as sugary as ice cream. ugh. I hate the texture of greek yogurt-feels like frosting it's so thick-so the only thing left is a mix of plain and flavored. there's definitely a niche for organic, low natural sugar yogurt.”
“I think rape is considered by some in the correctional system as a part of the coercion and control used their prisons. To eliminate that is perceived by them to eliminate one of the tools in their tool chest. Sick.”

“I’m a convert. I used to be hard pressed to want to protect offenders. However after hearing account after account of innocent people in jail, or those jailed on small offenses I think it is abhorrent to allow rape as some divine retribution. Even the hardest of criminal deserve to be protected.
In many instances, these men will come back to the community with life threatening STDs that could have been prevented. They are there to serve their sentences not be humiliated.”

“Yes. How often do you hear "wait till he gets to prison they know how to take care of those kinds in there". Like that should allowed to happen to them. Do they even consider the evilness of such a statement? No one should ever be raped. No one!”

“I think you hit the nail on the head....That's why in many instances it's the guards who do the raping....”
“if you wear them when it's really hot, then they're going to get sweaty and stinky. a light wash in an HE washer is important to do every so often. Not a fan of the Never Wash movement, also not a fan of the Wash All The Time folks. Waste of detergent and water, plus I'm too busy washing my 9 year old's truly filthy laundry. There is an in-between, and we need to find it. Americans wash a lot more than most nations and cultures. It's because we watch too many commercials.”

“totally suffering from this and have for years. done all of the above and still suffer. I take a tiny dose of muscle relaxant each night and it seems to ease the clenching and grinding…for now. *sigh*”
“great article! I'm of the belief that everyone should be free to celebrate the day however they want. My daughter was adopted at birth and knows and is close to her birth family. At school she made two mother's day cards-that's her "normal". I would hate to have anyone say she has only "one" mother. (and when father's day comes up, she'll make two father's day cards as well.) When I was growing up, I had my mom and a close family friend who was like a mother to me, Mrs. Taylor. If you ask me, I had two moms. I only wish I'd had nurturing males in my life-mine were the "traditional" stereotypical ones. Rob Watson, your kids are fortunate to have you and they clearly know it.”

“Yes, but I don't agree with males celebrating Mother's Day and women celebrating Father's Day unless they can explain why one role is more important than the other.”
“why would anyone want to name their kid the most popular names? so boring. Not that I advocate naming your kid something completely out there, but go ahead and yell "sophia" or "emma" in the hall of an elementary school and note the number of heads that turn. scary.”

“My thoughts exactly.
There are at least two Michaels in any large group.
Yell the name Chris or Matt or Dan and you'll see more than one response.”

“I have a William (4 years old) and a Michael (1 1/2 years old). My oldest is named after my husband and father-in-law and my youngest is named after my late grandfather and his middle names are after the rest of our grandfathers. So we weren't really looking at trends when we picked them.
Though I'm surprised they're still this popular. I know two other William's under the age of five and haven't met another child named Michael yet. I just assumed they were losing popularity. I know an uncountable number of Aidens, Jaidens, Haidens, and so on, though.”
“we have one cat who likes to do this between 3 and 4 am. not a good time for us but a perfect time for him. all over our face, purrs like a vacuum cleaner, tons of licking and rubbing. any suggestion that he might want to wait until we're awake is brushed off as "rubbish". Every.single.night...”
“my dentist is a republican. we have lovely chats and debates about politics and life (I'm a democratic socialist) and we tease each other constantly. He has not said anything like this woman's comments. If he ever did, my family and I would stop going to him, not because I didn't like his politics, but because I couldn't trust him to treat my family and others with respect.”
“I was completely with you until you got the state wrong and the wrong number of kids. it's Colorado and it's one kid, with three cats and an invalid rabbit.”

“LOL!!!......Forget about Amal, Robin S. and Laura L., George!! No kids here, just four cats and a Florida beach!! Even better, once I squeeze myself into my "miracle suit"-(the swimsuit that's basically a giant girdle)- hold in my gut and not breath, I can "strike a pose" for around 90 seconds or until I turn blue, whichever comes first. :)”
“okay, my husband likes to eat all the cookies but one. seriously…he leaves one. who wants to eat one little cookie? we've been together for 30 years and it's the same thing, no matter how many times I've "suggested" he just eat them all or leave at least two. I think he's trying to drive me over the edge...”

“Haha my husband does something similar with pizza bites. He leaves about 2 in the package and then wonders why I yell at him either eat them all or leave enough for the next person to have a snack and not just a bite.”
“lol! when I read your post, I thought "wow, just forty?" then I realized it was just at first glance. I suspect close study will note way more than that. btwm I found another black man. I think they're multiplying exponentially. time to move out of the neighborhood...”
