“The girl is obviously photoshopped, but the first thing I noticed is that I don't believe the dress she was wearing when the original photograph was taken was anything near that color and certainly not that shade of green.”
“I think you do grow wiser, or at least you can. I'm a reader, a music lover, and extremely fond of history. The older I get the more knowledge and big picture perspective I gain as my brain assimilates more and more aggregate information over the years. I understand and enjoy the Latin and Italian and French and German in the broad range of music that I enjoy listening to and singing and the literature I read. I don't need to have it translated for me. I was a smart kid, but I didn't have this broad or deep knowledge when I was 25. There's a lot of pleasure in it.
I know my limits. I'm not full of ambitious long-term angst and I don't have hormones in charge of me anymore. It's a better life in many ways. Of course, I'm full of physical aches and pains, but I can deal with that.
I got to be young and now I get to be old. I'm okay with that.”

“It's actually kind to call her "overweight." Truly, she's probably in the morbidly obese range. It may not be nice to discriminate against the obese, but you know there is something wrong with that person. It may be mental as well as physical. Something is wrong and it isn't necessarily evident what it is. Employers don't want to take that on if they have a choice, and these days they certainly do.”
“I spun it for myself to see if the web site would really come up with something I'd enjoy him having chosen for me and the web site came up with the orange tree thing. Perfect. Okay, I think I can get behind this.”
“I use frankincense essential oil straight up on my face and neck every morning under sunscreen. It smells great, is good for my skin, and it has an astringent effect that tightens my skin as well. Better than Botox.”

“Lord Grantham is right, of course. I've already seen series 3, after having read all the spoilers online anyway. I'll go for a second round when it's on legit, but there was no way I was going to wait if there was a way around it. Treating American fans second class makes no sense. I hope they change the policy for series 4 and let us all have it at the same time.”
“NYC Retro Red is my favorite too. It's 99 cents! And it makes a great cheek color. If you aren't in the mood for a rich red, you can tone it down to a gorgeous sheer cherry with chapstick. It's insanely good. I bought a 2nd one just in case.”

“Isn't it an amazing quick cheap yet so sleek find? I seriously have people ask me WHAT red are you wearing? I am planning to go to my local Sephora sale 50 miles away in a week...but I am SO happy with NYC I don't know IF i can find anything that stacks up! The 99 cent part is my guilty pleasure!!! ha ha”
“It sounds like he's punishing his employees because he doesn't like how the election went.
To me, it means I'm getting my pizza somewhere else. This kind of public temper tantrum by a CEO of a large company is so unattractive. And I already don't care for Olive Garden or Red Lobster either. Too much fat and salt.”
“All that money poured into a candidate they didn't even like who couldn't talk about his business record, his political record, or his religion without getting into deep water. So he talked mostly vague nonsense with that earnest, crazy eye action like he was saying something truly exciting, and focused on slamming Obama with one obvious lie after another. Then every time he told the truth in an unguarded moment (which happened almost every day of the campaign) he said "eat s**t and die" to every non-billionaire voting group either individually or collectively. Gosh, it's no real surprise how it ended.
So I guess their money bought their way into a respectable loss and not a complete landslide. All the GOP has left are the wealthy and the religious nutcranks.”
“I always blend my own shades. I could never find that "perfect" color, so I stopped trying. I bought a pigmented pink, orange, and true red and combine them with chapstick into whatever I feel like on that day. I use lipstick for blusher too. It can't be that unusual.”
