“Again I want to remind people that the RP of 2009 is NOT the Party of Lincoln or Roosevelt or Taft. It is the party of know-nothing bigoted Southern Dixiecrats who go to bed every night dreaming of blacks in the fields, women in the kitchen, and gays in the closet. They have taken over the name of the Party but not any of the policies (true Republicans would have had a stroke every time GWB opened his mouth) and probably most of the 20% who still call themselves Republicans do it out of habit and close their eyes to the policies of the Party, the same way Germans accepted the Nazi Party and its doctrines.”
