“Negotiating with Democrats only HE HAD NO LEVERAGE and Reid had to pay a high price to get 60 votes. And this is with Big Pharma on the sidelines. Now imagine if the President didn't cut a deal with Big Pharma to keep it on the sidelines with its huge war chest. Failure pobably would have been certain because progressives didn't even fight the Teabaggers during the town halls. Many are carping about the Pharma deal but those dollars to be gained by Pharma are peanuts when you're talking about trillion dollar healthcare reform.”

“Unless you're on a network that focuses on health issues and such, it's hard to keep a whole hour flying on a news network. When I first heard about it, I knew its ratings would be challenged. MSNBC needs to focus on straightforward news when it isn't doing it's main shows, the way CNN USED to do and the way the BBC does right now.”
