Here they are talking about reconciliation and what not and all they have to do is to not allow a filibuster and just put the whole thing up for an up or down vote. If this was the Repugs, they would have long ago shoved this down the Dems throats. The whole purpose of reconcilation is moot now. These guys have a 60 vote hammer and it's time they used it.”

The last Republican ran Congress before this one was an underreported travesty of stealing and graft. We only scratched the surface of the corruption that went on. I pray everyday that Americans will wake up and vote these facist, theiving rightwing warmongers out of office once and for all.”

There are many of the powerful who would not mind Barack Obama doing something else instead of running for president (I can't even say the ofher thing). It has nothing to do with race, per se. “According to HRC, she wants the count done "as voted" in Michigan, which means she gets credit for her votes and Obama gets zip. Uncommitted does not get counted. Unbelievable. Lieberman is a two faced phony, who left the Democratic Party after begin embarassed in the senate primary by his supposed constituents in Conneticut, then hoodwinked them into voting him back in as an independent in the general election. Many in that state bitterly regret their vote as they see him whispering in McCain's ear like some evil regent. He played them for suckers. His day of reckoning is coming, you can bet your arse on that. Hagel, on the other hand seems to be a man of integrity whose party has rushed by him in a effort to move as far to the right as possible. One of the few voices of reason still left in the party. He is that rare breed of centrist Republican that could be the saving grace of their party, but the right will not allow that to happen as they drag guys like Hagel right over the cliff with them this election.”
