“All you have to do is read Sorkin's book "Too Big to Fail" and you will come to the conclusion that these ego centric Wall St. types think about nothing but themselves. If these bankers cannot triple revenue while slashing jobs, no deserving borrower will receive a nickle. If they are doing "Gods's" work, then we should put them on the unemployment line. There is nothing like a terrible swift sword to remedy this economy. Congress cannot do it. The President cannot do it. The courts must do it. I want all you Oliver Wendell Holmes judges to step up to the plate, and devise some new principles of equity to deal with the problem by judicial fiat. We need a Brown v Board of Education case to level the playing field.

But as a civil rights advocate, & indigent defense provider's investigator in Oregon, I usually cringe at the thought of this court ruling on any matter connected with liberty.

I believe the prosecutor immunity should become qualified immunity as with police, but doubt have a hard time believing this court will be willing to open up that can of worms.”

“There is nothing in Afghanistan that is worth one more American life. This is not a country. It is an amalgam of tribes selling heroin for spending money. If a terrorist wishes to train there are many other desolate places that will allow them to train.

Reagen pulled out of Lebanon after 250 marines were killed. There is nothing worth saving. If they wish to build a nation they can do it themselves with their ballot boxes stuffed with false ballots.

This is change I can believe in.

“When David Brooks likes Obama, Obama is in trouble. I think he is in trouble. JFK was in trouble until he stopped listening to the centrists, the CIA, the FBI, and came out in favor of Civil Rights, which LBJ ran with losing the Southern bigots. Obama must show he is a man of principles even if he goes down in defeat on healthcare. If he takes the moral high ground and provides affordable healthcare to everyone and loses, he will campaign against a "do nothing Congress" as Truman did in 1948, and won. Then in 2010 he can pick and choose which Democrats to support and which ones go into a primary. He has to go to every Blue Dog and tell them "all or nothing at all." When he did not select Howard Dean as Secretary of Health. The Republicans are being the populists instead of the democrats. That is one friggin stupid mistake. There are no Wall St. Republicans, only Wall St. democrats. He turned over populism to the rural bigots. The Dems should be the tea baggers. The Dems should be the revolutionaries. He must put the torturers on trial and pillory Bush and his cronies.

“Rahm, whose family was a member of the Irgun understands torture. Hopefully, now that Began signed a Peace accord with Sadat, all that torture is in the past. The rural Senators, ie, the "hog callers", dsont give a damn ab out homeowners. They are narrow minded and they believe that urban Americans are elitist. Wall Street deserves to be taken down. Larry Summers is such a finance company lover that he did not take stronger measures over the bailouts. I believe that the ordinary folks who were suckered into to ridiculous loan that were securitized and then insured by CDS are the winners.

There are more than party differences. There are life style differences. Lets blow Big Ag out of their subsidies. There has to be a lot of trading off among the democrats to have a coherent recovery.

“To all viewers:

Each and every Democrat and the Administration should get behind the new bankruptcy bill, The 2005 Act should be repealed. Individual homeowners whose principal residence is under water are entitled to the Chapter 11 "cram down". What is good for GM is good for us working stiffs who got screwed by greed and fraud in the banking system. Private student loans should be dischargeable. Interest rates should be limited to 10%. Executory contracts should be rejected. If the unions can get busted by GM in BK, the banks should get busted by the working stiff who got shafted.

“TO MY FELLOW AMERICANS:

If we let these crimes of torture go unprosecuted, there will no longer be a restraint on how far a President may proceed in what he perceives to be rightous even though it is clearly wrong under US criminal law and the Treaties we have signed. The Constitution clearly states that a Treaty that has been signed by the President and confirmed by 2/3rds of the Senate has the force of law and is the "Supreme Law of the Land"

Nixon thought he was above the law and the Supreme Court thought otherwise. If Obama pushes these violations under the rug he will and should be prosecuted for compounding a felony. Where is the steel in his backbone?

“President Merkel is a good friend of Bush because she is a right wing fascist like Bush. Germany is in a poor economic condition at the present time. They are struggling in the world economy. Their auto industry, due to the fall of the dallar against the Euro has made their auto procucts less competetive than the Japanese products, and they certainly do not produce a "Prius" as does Toyota.

They refuse to adjust their prices in the US and they are arrogant to deal with. Mercedes, Porsche and BMW are overpriced products vs the Japanese products. They are overengineered, which is typical German and difficult to understand their dashboard. Step into an Infinit and you will see the difference. A better product for the most part for 1/2 the price. Like most of Europe they are suffering from negative birth rate an an aging population taking advantage of the German welfare system. They still have not adjusted to the economic crises caused by the reunification.

I leave you with just one question. Why has FIAT become profitable and their Ferrari product beats out any German product in the Formula 1? OBAMA HAS EVERY RIGHT TO SPEAK AT THE BRANDENBURG GATE AS THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AS DID REAGEN.

What you need to do is 1) Get over your phobias and biases about all things German and 2) Use FireFox. Is has a built-in spellchecker for blogging like this. The President I think you were referencing was Reagan, not Reagen.

Good lord, I hope you're more thorough with your clients matters than you are with blogging.”

Now he is on every TV talkshow spouting his pro Hillary line. His latest proposal is an insult to Obama. Obama, not Bill, has "cool" not to respond to these ridiculous proposals. Doesn't Lani know that "slice and dice" has been rejected and conciliation is in. If he was Al Gore's spokesman, the Supreme Court decision which took the presidency from Gore would have been rejected and he would have put this country into a constitutional crisis for at least one year.
