“Nonsense. There are REPEATED references made to Othello's dark skin by himself, Iago and others throughout the play. Over the years there's been a concerted effort to downplay the inherent rac!sm and jealously of the Othello/Desdemona story since criticism would be directed at white male psyches. And we all know they won't allow themselves to be criticized that harshly as long as they control the flow of information. They might file a suit with the intent of an out of court settlement.
