Michael Jordan Can't Let Go of Old Hurts During HOF Speech
Commented Sep 14, 2009 at 23:37:49 in Entertainment
“Paula what speech did you see? If this speech was so horrible, then why did I laugh my a** off. This was the best Hall of Fame Speech ever. He just told everyone what inspired him and thanked everyone who motivated him to be the Greatest of All Time. He took every slight whether real or perceived and made himself the Greatest Basketball Player of All Time. He showed everyone the competitor within and everyone's flipping out.”

“I can't do a 20 song playlist of Michael's music. The best I can get it down to is 80. Because too many of his album tracks are just as good as his hits.”

Do you or any of your family members have medicare?
Do you know the definition of the word socialism?
Do you know that private insurance companies have the same rationing "death panels" that you fear the government will enact?”

The Untouchable Michael Jackson
Commented Jul 12, 2009 at 08:51:53 in Entertainment
“Thank You. I too like many of you grew up with Michael's music. Like the other posters of a certain age, I remember when songs like ABC and Dancing Machine were massive hit singles and not part of a greatest hits compilation. I too feel this loss, it hurts when you listen to his music and look at his videos and performances such as when he did the Grammy's and realize that this outrageously gifted and talented person who every movement exuded life is no longer among the living. I now understand the initial hoopla that fans and the media displayed when Elvis initially died. Despite the wishes of the media, I believe Michael's message of love and inclusiveness for all, will get through. I think it would be cool to see a global flash mob dance to Thriller or one of his other songs on his birthday as a way to honor him.

150 Years for Madoff?

“I think the sentence is Borderline appropriate. I would have preferred a much lengthier term but Alec, that sentence sends a message to the next generation of Ponzi Schemers and to hopefully to his partners. Regarding fixing the problems that allowed Madoff to steal you need is powerful and intelligent regulation with teeth and people who aren't afraid to use them when someone steps out of line..”

“It's people like this who are sick. We shouldn't be surprised. These people are coming out of the woodwork now thinking that societal conditions are now safe for them to espouse their sick, twisted views. But they don't realize that the more they talk and display exactly what they are they further marginalize themselves. More than likely animals like these two radio m0rans have a deep seated hatred toward the LGBT community given to them either by their parents, churches or both.”
Thoughts on the IMAX/Not-IMAX Debate as Night at the Museum 2 Replaces Star Trek in the Nation's IMAX Screens
Commented May 24, 2009 at 09:04:39 in Entertainment
“Recently I saw Star Trek at a Faux-MAX theater and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. After seeing the movie on a substandard screen with substandard sound, I decided to boycott All AMC theaters and only go to IMAX Theaters that I know fit the true IMAX standard. The truth of the matter is that IMAX's certifying and licensing their name to these substandard theaters is doing a major disservice to people that want to see films the way they should be seen.”

Why We Need the New York Times
Commented Apr 08, 2009 at 13:59:11 in Media
“I would buy a newspaper however, the town I live in has a very poor newspaper. The sad fact is that reporters don't write newspaper articles anymore. They write semi editorials which defeats the reason why I would buy a newspaper. I want the news, I want the facts, not your interpretation of what the facts of the story are. That's not news, that's foxnews. If I lived in these cities, I would buy only these papers, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Suntimes, Chicago Defender, Wash. Post, NY Times and LA Times.”
