Early Reports On Black Friday Sales Show Signs Of Life

“I know there were record sales at the Toy's R Us store in my area. Our store opened at 12 midnight.
My daughter and I got there around 11:30 pm and the line to get into the store was down to the main highway. The store personnel finally looped the line several times to accommodate all of the people.
We finally left, went home and slept for 4 hours and went back around 5:30 am. The store was still full, and the line to get to the registers formed at the back of the store and looped through the aisles.
It took us longer to pay for what we purchased than it took us to find it. Actually, we worried that the few things that we were looking for would not be there if we didn't get to purchase early, but we found the things we were interested in.
So, all in all, it was a good shopping day and we got our items all on sale.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!”

“You miss the point. We parents used to feel pretty safe with ABC. It's no HBO, which I love, or MTV. Say we are all sitting down to watch, how do we know this level of stuff is coming on next on ABC. We don't, we don't have a clue.
