“Abortion is murder. Every woman who has done this has not only wrongfully killed her own offspring but has helped to contribute to the downfall of American society (abortion isn't the only problem, but a huge one). Nobody should have that kind of power when they're pregnant, nobody. Only in very very rare extreme cases should aborting a child in you be considered and it should be decided by both the dad & mom. If you're single and don't know the dad, well, then I suppose you can decide on your own but only in an extreme case. Most cases are not extreme, it's simply for the fact that a baby is an inconvenience to most girls & women who do the abortions who want to live freely and have sex freely without consequences. Sickening.”

upset99 on May 21, 2013 at 19:11:20

“LOTS of problems.
1. Your evidence that "." is a person?
2. We dont base Law on Religion. Who told it that is OK to replace your POlitical positions with your Religious Beliefs?
3 Downfall of America? So how do you explain other Countries where they have legalized abortion, and they are doing fine? With only a couple of exceptions (Ireland and Poland) only Third World Countries have abortion BANNED?
4. Too bad it makes you sick that people wont abide your religious rants. The government is NOT your Sex Police.
5 The last time, we listened to the rants of the Christian Right using secular arguments? We ended up with Prohibition.
6. "Conservative Heavy Handed Christianity" has been on the losing end of EVERY Social issue since the Dark Ages. This as the last time, Religion ruled people through enforced Government. Thank God, we have separation of Church and State.
7. Please provide YOUR Medical vitae since YOU want to talk Medicine.
8 LOL! Most Americans dont support you. Why can I say this? In Mississippi, second to none for the Christian Right, its Personhood Amendment FAILED. If it wont pass in Mississippi, it wont pass anywhere.
9 a The solution to abortion is more EFFECTIVE BC
b. Comprehensive Sex ed and NOt Abstince only ..but you oppose both”

“I'll tell you what, sport; get it snipped and you'll never contribute to the problem. Others are free to make their own choices. I could say I thought obesity was the downfall of this country and it doesn't give me the right to ban McDonalds.
And let's talk about the dad, thing. He does not have rights until the baby gets here. He does no work between ejaculating and the birth. My husband did not get morning sickness, he did not find himself with a gallbladder problem caused by pregnancy, did not almost die from a miscarriage, did not feel a single contraction, or anything else while I was pregnant. He did not run the risk of dying - I did and it very well would have happened were it not for the wonders of science.
He also had no proof that he was the father. He's never doubted the fact and it's clear by looking at them that they are most definitely his, but that was all a matter of trust (and still is, really, as no DNA test was ever done). There's no way of proving who the male is during the first trimester. Anyone with a penis could claim to be.”

Sherrie Heckendorn on May 15, 2013 at 01:22:40

“@Matheus Grunt A fetus can not be murdered, because that fetus is not alive. When a fetus takes the first breath of life, then that fetus is now a baby. You know what I find sickening is remarks like yours. What in the world would ever make you think that a woman has an abortion because of inconvience? Ever hear of the facts that when there are no jobs and no livable wage jobs, no help with childcare or no health care, then a responsible 'woman' may decide that now is not the time to bring a new life into the world. Want to prevent abortions? Then advocate for livable wages, good childcare, good healthcare, free birthcontrol and that means for men also and then you will find the need will go down. Don't want an abortion, don't have one, its really that simple”

“How about supporting sexual education or contraception or adoptions, no I guess it is easier to tell other people how to live their lives with a holier then thou attitude? People are dieing all around from starvation and wars, but other peoples problems hits a sore spot? I suspect it is a manufactured issue and no, conception does not start with the twinkle in a Republicans eye.”

“No, you are delusional and you didn't read anything I said. Liberals are DANGEROUS to Liberty, Justice and Freedom. To do what we did in 1776 was not in fact a matter of liberalism but a matter of patriotic duty. Those 2 are not related whatsoever. Next.”

“Denying it is not going to make it go away. Too many Conservatives hold on to the past because for fear of change. You are one of them and then project that onto others and become beligerent when you feel change and progress is encroaching on your little corner of the world. The world will keep evolving with or without you, count on it.”

I don't know of ANYONE who favors MORE infringements (because that's what they're) on our 2nd Amendment rights. ALSO, the federal government has absolutely NO authority on this matter either. NONE. The Founder's explicitly talked about these sorts of things. So stop spewing lies.”

“Gun control doesn't protect anyone, it harms us. Government today is not government that you are talking about. The reason this didn't go through is because of citizens like ME who stood up and fought back against it. Not because of NRA or any groups. It's because of citizen patriot's like myself and millions of others who have been pushing back more now because we realize our rights (and your rights too, even if you deny them) are being stripped away of what's left of our liberties in this fallen nation.”

Bobby4242 on Apr 18, 2013 at 15:13:27

“So you can not go into a gun store and buy all the guns you want? Why not? Are you a convicted felon, a known terrorist, or did you flunk a mental exam. I went into my local gun store the other day and talked to the clerk. He said as long as I passed the background check I could buy all I want. Why can't you?”

“Don't insult the Father like that. Don't make up lies Thomas River. It is a fact that we are a Constitutional Republic and even though that's a concept that you socialists don't like to hear, because it means limited government, no freebies, Liberty for us all and other great things, it's inconvenient for you all to admit this. All of our Founder's disapproved of a pure democracy because a pure democracy is dangerous to personal liberty and personal liberty and freedoms was the whole reason for the fight against the British tyrant's. A win for our independence and to have a nation of freemen, not "slavemen". So give me a break.”

“We The People, which really means, true citizens like myself and millions of other patriot's of various caliber, various skin color, various everything, we are the ones who want limited government, a government that is small and one that obeys the respect the Constitution and Bill of Rights and our rights period. We aren't a Democracy and if you were educated, you would know this. It's a FACT. Get acquainted with it, all of you. But I suspect as I do with 99% of leftist's, that you may even know this but you ignore it because it's inconvenient for you all. So take yourself, and all of your socialist lovers who have destroyed this country alot, and go to Russia where even there, they probably wouldn't want you. In that case, find an island and make your own socialist regime up and destroy yourselves there.”

“That is because the liberal leftist's, aka, the socialists and commies, have been working on eroding our great nation for a 100 years. Our Republic when respected and obeyed by the government and people flourishes and thrives, but that is not what we are witnessing.”

LibDutchman on Apr 18, 2013 at 12:11:54

“You are delusional. All politicians are subject to the influence of money eventually, very few can resist it. You know what was one of the most liberal statements aver made in American history?: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal..." In 1776 THAT was a radically liberal statement, very few in society really believed that could ever be true, a man in the street could certainly not be equal to a royal or a lord or lady. And over the centuries, liberals have won the fight for most reforms eventually, always being opposed by people who are afraid of change in the persuit of creating a more perfect Union. ”
