“"I am curious how prevalent in college football is this type of behind-the-scene profanity-laced coaching behavior:"
Well, that's just it. I never saw this as 'behind the scenes'. I thought everyone who watches football was aware that coaches curse out players... even as early as high school.
I guess that's why it's so surprising to me that there are so many posts standing by James, as if a coach being really tough on a player is out of line...
This happens EVERYWHERE folks. The reason you don't hear about it is because if a player goes public with it, he'll be looked on as weak, petty, and as a pansy (like James is now). Usually, football players hear the coach curse at them and say, "Wow, how embarrassing. I'd better get it together for the sake of my dignity."
I guarantee you if James worked harder, and lost the attitude, he wouldn't have gotten this treatment. So instead of manning up and taking care of his responsibilities, he cried to his daddy.
Now, he'll be run out of Texas, and he'll deserve it.”
“I just have to say that while I understand this is a liberal website with liberal readership, I cannot believe the number of people who will side with this spoiled little brat James. Did ANY of you play football in high school or college? This is how it works people! You get BULLIED! Straight up!
Stop being pansies. You have to be a man to play football. James is a little b!tch.”
