Healthy Vegan: How To Avoid 3 Common Pitfalls

“B12 comes from micro-organisms. Whether the micro-organisms are cultured in the guts of an animal or in lab is rather irrelevant - although taking lab cultured B12 supplements does allow one to avoid consuming E Coli and other nasty bugs.

B12 is also found in micro-organisms in the soil and water. But now that we put lots of chemicals in our soil, wash our veggies and chlorinate our water (which depletes natural B12 levels but prevent cholera) it is wise to take a B12 supplement or to eat B12 fortified foods.”

“Wrong. We are saying it about the bigoted Bronze Age people who wrote the Bible.”

“You would probably consider many of the characters written about as bigots too. Everyone recalls the homosexuality aspect. The greek scriptures denounce drunkenness, gambling, stealing, violence, greediness, adultery, fornication, divorce, lying, slander etc.
Jesus said love would be the identifying mark of his followers, yet hate and condemnation are the norm.

Those other sins usually aren't mentioned because they're prevalent, people accept them. How did Jesus, who left an example to follow his footsetps closely treat "sinners?" He was kind. He showed love. Let he that is without sin cast the first stone...that's not us.

Christians aren't the judges of anyone. I can show you what the Bible says, you can take it or leave it. Jesus didn't take that choice away from people, why are many christian groups trying to? Being gay or guilty of any of those other sins that we all struggle with does not give license to ill treat you, nevermind hate you.

Why homosexuality has been singled out as a "grosser" sin & the rest brushed aside, or why this is where people feel they can cast judgement is blatantly anti-christian. A Christian's job is to practice good towards ALL, work on that and leave the judgement to the one equipped for it. We can't even do that small part we have correctly, why are we taking it upon ourselves to "judge the sinners" when we are all sinners ourselves. Are our sins just "better" sins? Show me that in the bible.”
