“aaHHHH! FREEDOM OF SPEECH! KILL IT!

People need to accept that there are people out there with dark sense of humors that can be immature and even mean. But if you're an intelligent, understanding adult , you shouldn't be bothered by the printings of some childish goon. Grow up. Move on. Let it be.”

mancoff replied on Nov 24, 2009 at 18:47:53

“Freedom of Speech is in the constitution to protect citizens from being silenced from speaking out about their disagreements with the Government. It wasn't intended to personally insult, incite hatred, fearmoner or promote racism or to provoke violence. It wasn't intended to demean individuals for their looks or their beliefs that may be different from someone else's, so everyone who keeps using "freedom of speech" as an excuse to promote their hateful, vengeful agenda's against other individuals who believe differently than they do, should be "wopped up side the head" and learn about what the constiution really says. You could start with Sarah Palin and Glen Beck who are soooooooo factually challenged about the Constitution, not that they care as long as they can fill their coffers. As I said before, does anyone know when the mother ship is coming to pick up these people like Palin, Limbaugh, Beck and those others who wear those ridiculous tea bags all over their heads...........They need to go back to the whatever planet they are from.”

“Staying positive doesn't mean ignoring reality and pretending things are going to be alright. Doing that is ignorance. And ignorance is the negative to knowledge, which is the positive. So in making yourself positive while all the while remaining ignorant , you're actually creating a more negative effect. The positive thing to do about the banks, and the Federal Reserve, is to Audit the FED, which would be an act of sharing truth (a positive) , and if there are wrong doings(negative) found being done by the banks, the federal reserve, and timothy geithner, then all the guilty parties (negatives) should be held accountable (positive).”

eirlymeyer replied on Nov 24, 2009 at 18:41:34

“And the end result of being positive, is a positive outcome.

Either way, something has to be done.

But let me digress -- it's not about ignoring reality. What I'm saying is do what the wealthy people do. They don't focus on the negative. They not only stay away from it but they remove it from there lives. If we focus on doing the innovation & change that is necessary, things will work out for the better.
You don't find wealthy people complaining. You find them innovating & moving forward.”

Online news sites have been found to be owned by people with ties to government officials.
These websites have been spotted from promoting biased news articles in favor of current

writing deceptive smear articles on protest organizations who attempt to expose the governments

And at the same time he exposed a US citizen who was illegally hiring illegal immigrants, and who also is a sex offender. Great work! Surely the US Citizen who broke the law here will be charged for his crimes, and the illegal immigrants who worked for him will be charged for their crimes and deported.

“Stewart is actually a very cogent, insightful, and intelligent guy even when he's not playing fake-news host. Arguably, these characteristics make him a better comedian, so this should not be surprising.

I think even he would run away from the notion of political office, however--its not that he couldn't do it, but he wouldn't want to be in that position of responsibility. And again, arguably that might make him the best person for that sort of authority. I'd take him over a Cheney any day of the epoch.

That said, it speaks more to the lack of intelligent, thoughtful people in the media than it does his own qualifications that people are as eager as they are to advocate his entry into the political arena. Most "politicians" or pundits are far too blinded by ideology these days. Stewart's definitely a progressive, but he is a rational and introspective one.”

By having a Mexican mariachi band perform, Jon Stewart was poking fun at Dobbs' dislike of undocumented Mexican immigrants and that perceived racism. If you didn't get the joke, you didn't get it. Most people who watched it did.

It had nothing to do with "canned" audience laughter (you do know the audience is live, right, and that there was nothing "canned" about it?), because if it did, I would be laughing at "King of Queens" too, but strangely enough, I never, ever do.”

Also, the word is "sombrero". And they're Mariachis, not just "Mexican musicians". Mariachi is a specific type of music but not the only type of music attributable to Mexico.
