Why We're Breaking With the Blue Dogs on the Public Option

Why We're Breaking With the Blue Dogs on the Public Option

“Harmon/Sanchez/my former party don't really care about the people of America if they continue trying to do to our healthcare system what they've done to education across our land. I graduated from our famous Cal Ed high school system rated #1 at the time. As a teacher in that same system I've witnessed the expensive destruction of that once very honorable public effort for the Good of The People. Now Cal Ed is about 46th. In short, in our best Sacramento suburban high school, our wonderful German foreign exchange student suddenly went home after about 6-8 weeks, saying American education was a joke. Her comments were echoed by my polite Swedish foreign exchange student. Cal Ed is the future of your healthcare under Pelosi.

Obamacare is magic thinking by well-intentioned people who are trying to wash off guilt and to emplace blame, engendered largely by distortions of MSM which is connected generally to NY-DC's corrupt combine of wealthy Wall Streeters/money managers/corrupt big city governments/corrupt unions-community organizations, as MSM operatives try to establish their leftist professors' dreamland.

The best way to cover the most people (the fewest needing government help) is to grow the economy/education allowing all to earn their own place in this Greatest Revolution for the Common Man in all of history: America.”

“The school districts across America are going to have to be swept clean of these nanny, fear-mongering, no-score-in-sports, left-leaning, power-grabbing, weakness-instilling bureaucrats. As a teacher in CA's dying public school system, I clearly state that parents would be better off NOT to send their children to these schools. It's becoming crystal clear that the public monies for education must be directed to any and all schools that do good work and not be diverted only to the corrupted teacher-union-controlled edu-criminal wastes to which the people's tax money in now fully directed.”

Wilson Is the Poster "Child" for the New Republican Party

Commented Sep 10, 2009 at 17:18:32 in Politics

“Comment from a Kennedy Democrat in Cal ED, who's seen too much of what my college comrades have done to Ca.'s Kids and Parents. Joe Wilson included..

President Obama,

Listening to your healthcare speech, we (and Joe Wilson) heard nothing new. Your nicely spoken words displayed contempt for inquiring minds. Americans as propaganda students see deception smoozed over fantasy, like chocolate syrup poured over rock salt, re: economic reality. The con man is always our friend.

We see socialized-medicine in lands whose healthcare is becoming de-humanized, Marxist: inexorably increasing costs, rationing quality. We see more of Brit's NHS institutional plowing their people under. Increasingly, we see Brit babies and older citizens being sacrificed on their Marxist priests' deadly alter.

Lincoln spoke about not fooling all of the people all of the time.

Smoothly omitted truths mated with lies can't negate reading the bait 'n' switch 'healthcare' bill, which subordinates every American to a school-marming statist utopia. Kafka.

Paul Revere's attempted murder.

Thank You,

Since Obama introduced the word "lie" into the room from his own mouth, I sympathize with this Joe Wilson guy, who was clearly tired of Demo-MSM Combine's free-standing lies to the people. Obama was attacking just as much as Joe was.”

“I'll repeat, "Fear of Everything". The link you mention says many pb populations (which we can know about) are doing fine with some in decline. We know nothing about the Russian bears which make up most of the pb population on earth.

I ask you how thick you think the polar ice was when the Incas were sequestering the dead bodies of the little girls they murdered in their human sacrifices at the top of the Andes, where the acknowledged high altitude photographer used by Nat Geo and others says in paraphrase, "I have about 25 seconds to shoot my images before I must put my hands back inside my fur gloves or I will suffer the beginnings of frostbite".

So, The Inca priests had hours or days of climbing time and plenty of time for their rites and ritualized burials, but now we have 25 seconds of time out in the normal air. So what's supposed to be normal to those who fear everything?”

“When John Kerry says the world's Arctic/Antarctic Oceans will be ice free in four short years, he is stoking Chicken Little more than communicating believability. The most recent climatology papers state that Arctic ice is thicker recently than previously, that the Polar Bears are resurgent in health/population, and . . . in which, the President of Greenpeace is quoted that Greenpeace's earlier ice projections were wrong.

Greenpeace's President/others in the real world (and in real science) appreciate the fact that the world is more likely cooling, despite MSM's cheer-leading for Gore. Over 30,000 of the world's climate/other scientists signed a petition seriously disputing global warming as it's been presented. Russian scientists two years ago said the world was cooling, (but, hey, aren't we all smarter'n they are?). Montreal still sports it's large un-melted pile of last year's street-swept snow.

Let Kerry retreat to his privileged life, with his wealthy wife, in corrupt DC and quit his public strife.

3,000+ record low temps in the US this summer indicate what even the most politicized must note. New Hampshire's August 10 degree nights name but one example and there's more in Terre Haute.

A lesson: Once pumped up, neither official low temp readings, nor scientific inquiry can lay soft balm upon Chicken Little's "Fear of Everything" fantasies. Hup, hup.”

“Dear me, here we are again. Greenpeace's ice-projections weren't wrong. A journalist misquoted a Greenpeace article to make it sound like they predicted ice-free Greenland by 2030, and Greenpeace's executive director answered that if they had written that, it would have been a mistake. They never wrote that, so no statement was denied or anything.

These elitists naturally cover for their allies in corruption which blanket DC and the corrupt North East of our land (but exist everywhere). Wherever there is lots of money to be grabbed, there are weasels, criminals, smooth-talking 'insiders', money-managers, political organizations, community development specialists, Art organizations, etc. who gladly plunder and rob "We The People's" money by manipulating various levers of control in and around The Money. “Sanders speaks like a comfortable cog in the wheels of NE progressiveism, funded by the blood, sweat and tears of the rest of America. Corrupt politicos of DC/NY/Chicago always fund themselves, cronies and allies with money hiested from the public.

As a JFK Democrat, I know exactly why the people are angry at these normally quiet townhall affairs. It's because I've learned ( as we all are) how the political class regard themselves as separate and "smarter and better" than regular citizens, like "Animal Farm's" famous: "Some animals are more equal than other animals". The Demos have the press as their lapdogs, the publicly funded university systems, publicly funded support groups such as Acorn, the baby-killer Planned Parenthood started by racist Margaret Sanger, to name a few of their monopolies.

So, anything close to the truth can never see the light of day in the public forum, and now Pelosi, et al, are calling old people whom they want to kill, "Nazis and their new pc, "bullies" who dare to disrupt their politely-spoken death decisions made secretly in DC and announced at these increasingly fake meetings. No amount of bussing in SEIU union thugs will make people believe their cleaned-up act anymore.

Some people prefer other people do their thinking for them, just telling happy stories over the radio or TV from the safely distant comfort of their government-provided housing units. This way they can remain child-like for their entire lives.”

My students have no hope in a land where once a smart kid outta high school could have a wife and be buying a home five years outta high school. Now they're lucky to be a 'barista' at Starbucks.

The California politician power-mongers who take your satirical advice truly hate the people, since they have sacrificed all of our Good on their alter of party politics, Saul Alinsky, and their Marxist god. They've used Obama-like methodologies predating Obama's idiocy in their genuine effort to kill our economy and our freedoms. They just put 80,000 more Californians out of work this last week in our Great Central Valley as they bow to their environmentalist priests by withholding water from farms, orchards, ranches and anybody who does anything (outside of their university academics).

No buyers ever purposely overprice that which they want to purchase, be it cars, houses, wedding rings, or tomatoes. When there are more buyers than sellers the pressure for price inflation erupts to the exact degree that the pressure forces it upon the marketplace. So . . . . when my former party forced the Community Reinvestment Act's demands upon the marketplace, many more home buyers than the real economy could support were created. Those millions of fake buyers (unqualified buyers who were being bankrolled by the US treasury or forced upon the banks w/o recompence) simply provided more buyers than sellers. This twisted the economy into fake pressures to up prices for houses where more "buyers" existed than sellers, forcing the price upward to two times the real value in California, for instance. This cost EVERY HOMEBUYER IN CALIFORNIA to pay up to DOUBLE the real value of their homes. Now they've been economically killed by my former party.”

Then the insurers (AIG) spent the revenue from the CDSs on the market instead of keeping enough funds to actually deliver the insurance. Had the Bushies not deregulated the banks, this could have all been stopped as the line between investment banks and the savings and loan banks would have prohibited the trade of the toxic loans. This "Investment" was Jimmy Carter's other great gift to the world, besides his ushering in Iran's murderous theocracy.

This "investment" powered on by the dopey Clinton administration's adding the backing of the US treasury to this "feel good" act forced banks to "lend" trillions of our dollars to the credit unworthy. This bungling had the bogus buyers' effect of doubling home prices in California for EVERYBODY, where many more "buyers" than sellers perverted the market. “MIGUEL.. YOU ARE RIGHT ON! I USED TO HAVE A BUSINESS PARTNER IN CALIFORNIA IN THE 60S 70S. THEN SCHOOLS IN CALIFORNIA WERE THE ENVY OF THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. IF HAD A STRONG BUSINESS CLIMATE AND BUSINESS WAS BOOMING. THEN CAME THE DEMOCRATS AND THEIR FLAKY ENVIRONMENTALISTS. TODAY PEOPLE ARE FLOCKING OUT OF CALIFORNIA. YOU HAVE ONE OF THE WORST 5 SCHOOL SYSTEMS IN THE US. TAXES ARE KILLING THE MIDDLE CLASS. YOU HAVE TAXES EVEN THE COMMUNIST HAD NOT THOUGHT OF! I WANTED TO CRY MY LAST TRIP TO SAN FRANCISCO. HOMELESS SLEEPING ALL OVER THE PLACE IN CARDBOARD BOXES. THE CITY SMELLS OF URINE EVERYWHERE. WHAT THE PELOSI DEMOCRATS HAVE DONE TO THAT BEAUTIFYUL CITY IS A DOWNRIGHT SHAME I SEE NO OTHER WAY FOR HONEST HARDWORKING FOLKS RATHER THAN CATCH THE NEXT BUS OUT OF TOWN AND GET THE HELL OUT OF THAT OPEN SEWER WE CALL CALIFORNIA. SAD SAD DAY . .”

“Perhaps you need to take your rightie glasses off.

I don't live in California but it is always in the news if one wants to pay attention. I can't think of California without thinking of ENRON, Phil Gramm and his wife who sat on it's board.

No Dems there.....”

“King R here is going to need to do some real reading of history and learn something considerably deeper than the fools at Democracy Now can offer. This guy might have been a good fellow traveler with another Anti-Semite of about 70 years ago in another land, who also was an electric speaker, generating millions of lemmings.

It's my hope that the Israelis no longer are cowed by the Anti-Semite marxists making their home in the UN, Russia, Europe and American universities, the MSM and leftist political parties, essentially parasites all. In earning my three degrees, for the most part, I saw that there is nobody more stupid than a PhD, from an American university. The real meaning of a do-gooder is someone who gets other people killed for no real gain.”
