“You should try actually reading the bible and not just cherry-picking it for parts that support your erroneous and incorrect sales pitch that Jesus is love.
Jesus, who most likely didn't even exist, but is an amalgamation of many religious figures, was not about peace and love. Parts of the message attributed to him are truly peaceful and way ahead of it's time. However, by the letter of the bible, he was also a horrible person:
Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. - Matthew 10:34
And Jesus said unto him, Why call me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. - Mark 10:18
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Revelation 19:15”

“Interesting. So---it's either accept EVERYTHING in the Bible as the indisputable word of God or toss the baby out with the bathwater? Would you not call this "either-or thinking," which is quite limited, according to many, many psychologists?
So, you assume that I have not read the versus you've cited? My friend, you are making a lot of assumptions! I hope you don't make a habit out of this...it limits what you can comprehend. As a researcher, I can safely say that the more we assume, the more we leave ourselves open to misapprehension and misdirection.
Have you not heard that people have seen Jesus, even in OUR day? Perhaps you have not heard about children and adults who have had Near Death Experiences and met Jesus? Yes, I can already guess your probable response: You did not personally meet Jesus, so forget about it. Only YOUR experiences count or those of "qualified observers" in your estimation, perhaps this is your response? Am I allowed to guess as much as you do?
Anyway, you'll know a LOT more about Jesus when this life is over....God bless you! May good things come your way!”
“You would think that at least one person would have tested it out before just posting this junk to the site. NBC News here I come...unless they start that nonsense with ads jerking the webpage all over the place, I immediately leave ALL websites that pester their clients.”

“I still don't understand this pathetic sycophantic ranking of movies. Rating movies based on how much they take in at the box office is junk. The far more accurate measure is how many tickets they actually sold.
Judging movies based on money isn't a true measure of films. Considering that a movie ticket costs five times what it cost just a few decades ago, there is no consistency to the measurement. Not only that, but you have to keep in mind that there are billions of more people on the planet now, as well as a vastly greater number of theaters all over the world.
Here's a ranking that is vastly superior to just looking at the take:
“I wouldn't eat that garbage if I was starving to death.
I laugh at all the foolish clowns that poison themselves with this junk.
However, the real tragedy to this situation is all the parents that ignorantly and/or arrogantly poison their children willingly with no regard for the consequences because they are too lazy to prepare real food. Hiding behind lame excuses that real food is too expensive isn't going to be a consolation to legions of sick people that had their health sacrificed on the corporate alter of fast food.”

“well is it ok to give to my dog? do you eat raw fish an stuff? i can get you a good deal on an alter.”
“I feel sorry for those duped, manipulated, and indoctrinated into thinking that junk is even remotely close to being food.
When you build a house with substandard materials, no one is surprised when that house collapses the first time it's tested by a strong storm. Likewise, when you put junk into your body and foolishly think of it as food, you shouldn't be surprised when your health fails and your quality of life goes down the drain forever.”

“I'm sure he'll do something very misogynistic as ususal, you know, like having a woman as the hero that bashes dozens of men to pieces, or as the super strong independant soldier that takes down the bad guys and the lead villian.
Yeah, what a pig this guy is. Why can't he just make a nice simple movie where the woman is merely just a contrived love interest to be saved by the ambiguously typical male hero for a steamy sex scene before getting back into the action again?
Out of curiosity, have you ever even seen one of his films?”
AnimalLover6 on Dec 20, 2012 at 00:51:09
“You think that having a woman inhabit the mentality of a killer is somehow liberating?
Yeah, I've seen both Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction. Garbage.”
“Religion is by far enough provocation to usher in attacks, belittling, and demeaning. The very fact that you quote from a book of murder, hatred, intollerance, and bigotry that hides behind mythology and supernaturalsim as though it were somehow magically superior, clearly shows you don't know much of christianity beyone the lovey-dovey, feel good sales pitch.
Just so we're on the same page, since you both push the same product, "his organization" is also part of your organization. Despite any lame attempts at excuses or rationalizations, you both subscribe to the same delusion instilled by religious indoctrination. Perhaps not sold in the same ways or methods, the end result is nothing less than the worst and most vile plague to ever infect the human race.
Since you like scripture, here's one you should read very carefully:
II Timothy 4:3-4
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
You start off by being completely clueless to the sarcasm. Then you engage in an ad hominem attack against me by stating that I should be banned from using computers.
Then you actually have the temerity to accuse me of an ad hominem attack?
You must think the sun shines out of your backside. I'm sure you're wallowing in your self-assumed cleverness. But, you've only managed to outsmart yourself, which doesn't seem to be a difficult task currently.”
Lucky for me, no one really cares what you think.”

“So it would matter what other people cared to make my thought valid? That sounds like an ad hominem. Not to also mention that your original post used a false equivalency in equating accidents that occur from everyday items to that of assault riffles and guns which primary purpose is to KILL people.
So yes I do think that if you can't even make a logical argument then you should be banned from using a computer.”
bicycles, skateboards, diving boards, roller skates, baseball, football, heck...all sports, field trips, buses, trees, sleds, fast food, toys, and chewing gum.
That's just a beginning! We have so much more stuff to ban in order to save the children...from living life (which by the way is inherently dangerous and without question, eventually fatal).”

“Yes! I agree with this!! Bicycles in the wrong hands can kill 20 children and 6 adults in an elementary school and the number of Mall diving board deaths can't be counted!! Trees are the silent killers no one is talking about!!
I'm totally behind you on this!!! Can I subscribe to your newsletter?”
