“If Obama doesn't have the b.a.l.l.s to fire Geithner and Summers, this will be his Katrina.”

“if obama fires geithner and sumners and the replacements are ineffectual(and they will be) then it will be his waterloo(and the usa). the consolation is there really is nothing he can do, anyway. it was all done before him starting with lbj.”

“Not to defend anything Wallstreet... But at this point they are not the JOB problem... and cant fix it...

Look at where the products you buy come from, thats the jobs problem. We are part of it and most Americans in the voting booth and in the store have voted for the exporting of our jobs and then making up for that with debt. But nowthe credit card has been pulled.

Look at Detroit as Americas future or what is beating America just a few miles away in Canada or in Europe.

Regards”

“Obama is an empty suit. He is relying 100% on Geithner and Summers to tell him what to do, and would no more turn his back on them than he would his own grandmother.”

acapo replied on Nov 24, 2009 at 00:17:56

“But they are doing a good job ... what would you like to see them do?

They can't balance the budget or create jobs. That is the job of Congress.

The Administration is probably just looking for a scapegoat.”

“Obama keeps listening to the Wall Street type the lack of employment will be his Waterloo. Americans have a myopic memory, though. Obama who was supposed to be a transformational figure is sticking to incremental changes instead of delivering on hope and change. If he continues on this path, he deserves to be a one-term president.”

shakabra replied on Nov 23, 2009 at 20:14:05

“Wait, I thought health care reform was going to be his waterloo...and Afghanistan his Vietnam...and closing Guantanamo bay his Mission Accomplished.

I think we should say that our President has a lot of challenges and he is doing what be thinks is right. And if he fails, it will not be Waterloo, it will be a major disaster and we will all pay dearly.”

dnegri replied on Nov 23, 2009 at 20:14:05

Probably also has to do with Obama being Prez instead of Bush. Still though, it is kind of funny.”

Lynching Advocate Toby Keith: Obama

Lynching Advocate Toby Keith: Obama "Talks, Acts, And Carries Himself As A Caucasian"

Commented Aug 06, 2008 at 11:21:10 in Politics

“When "Mr. Show"s Bob Odenkirk and David Cross wanted to lampoon the aggressive American pride of country music in 1996, they wrote "Blew Moon," a patriotic music video by "C.S. Lewis, Jr." Lewis celebrates an absurd NASA plan to blow up our lunar neighbor by standing in front of the Stars and Stripes with a guitar and warning the celestial object, "You don't mess around with God's America." It was therefore surprising when, five years later, real-life country musician Toby Keith, in an equally pompous though far less ironic move, decided the best way to respond to our crucial post-9/11 international relations was by throwing on a Stetson hat and informing the Middle East, "We'll put a boot in your ass." Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" expresses a nationalistic desire to do to every country east of Turkey what "Blew Moon" wanted to do to a heavenly body. And while the Moon may seem the more foolish target, unlike the Middle East, it doesn't have Kalishnikovs and angry Muslims.”
