“Lorazepam, also known as Ativan. In some people, it triggers a reaction the same way it is triggered by all benzodiazepams and makes you hyper. I was lucky. I realized finally what was causing the problem, along with too much coffee, but trust me, it whacked me out.

“That is not a "faux legal pretext." There are strict federal laws prohibiting doctors and all health care providers from sharing a patients medical history and records (including treatments, prescriptions, etc) with anybody (including other doctors) unless the patient has signed a consent form to release medical information. This is supposed to protect the patient's right to privacy for one thing.”

“This is true. I take Lamictal for bipolar. It is predominantly prescribed for people with epilepsy, to control seizures. It is a great mood stabilizer (IMHO).”

“What a bizzaro thing to say. First, health care is not a liberal issue. And excuse me but Obama was elected saying that Health Care reform was going to be a cornserstone of his administration and that real change would occur under his leadership. Now we are being told that Obama didn't press for things like a public option or even the medicare extension, which by the way, I believe would have been very popular with voters if the president had got behind it. Essentially a lot of folks are now saying that something is better than nothing and you will like it or keep your mouth shut. This is not change, this is more of the same.”

“She starred in some pretty high profile and successful good movies and although she herself was a success by any measure, it is hard to see why she wasn't more of a household name. Once I looked up her movies, I realized that she was in some pretty big films and yet I couldn't think of any of her films until looking up her bio. She was great in 8 Mile.”
