“With Repugs comprising 22% of the electorate, I don't see that happening. If you would like to see a candidate that would work for the people, I would suggest Howard Dean.
If you would really like to see this country start working for 90 percent of Americans, I would suggest throwing out the incumbents in the Senate and replacing them with Progressives.”

“I do too. I thought there was a basic decency about her. We have so many dishonest corrupt but "well spoken" people in the senate. Her difficulty in expressing herself did not bother me at all. And maybe not being a seasoned politician could be viewed as something in her favor. Not slick like Willie but maybe with more integrity.”

They can give big insurance and big pharma a boatload of the American people's cash and force us to buy a lousy product. Should you refuse to buy their lousy products, the IRS will charge you hundreds of dollars.
Sounds great!!!!!

“What a joke!
Now the government loses the public option, throws us to the insurance lions and fines us if we don't buy in. They call that progress. Sounds like a recipe for the dem's to get thrown from office. The whole repug's and dem's remind me of good cop, bad cop anyways. Nothing can get done for the people.
The D's should hang their heads in shame. I can't even bare to watch it anymore, it reminds me of having to watch Dubya on the TV. You know, when you feel passive anger and utter disgust, all at the same time.
I agree with Ed on MSNBC. Let's kill this whole bill and let the voters decide on November 1st, 2010.
Do we want to elect real progressives and move this country forward? Well, here is our chance.
Obama needs to start leading and pose this question to the people, then we will see what Americans truly want.”
