Anger As 'GMA' Books Chris Brown After Canceling Adam Lambert

“LOL! Really? No one will be watching Good Morning America - they'll be watching Adam Lambert on CBS! That's NOT GOOD for ABC (at all...). ABC just shot themselves in the keister!
I find it funny to hear all these naysayers whining their heads off. Its the very same group of tight-a*ses who screamed their head off over Elvis swiveling his hips (does anyone remember that?) and Ed Sullivan filming him only from the waist up. Old Ed wasn't stupid like ABC and refuse Elvis, he just felt it was his right to censor the performer. It backfired, of course, and made Elvis an even bigger star just as ABC is doing for Adam. Adam's album was already at Number 1 before the AMA's, he's had another million sales and his debut album will probably topple all the other first album sales releases - as it should. He is a pure genius, street-wise, gutsy, and dang it, one handsome gay stud!
BTW, I run the largest "SF-only" gay dating service in California. Adam is now single and we'd be happy to have him sign on to find that perfect husband! :-)”

From Media Blitz to Women's Conference: Has Maria Shriver Discerned a Watershed Moment?
Commented Oct 26, 2009 at 15:34:26 in Living
“Maria is the worst first lady we have ever had and I'm a five-generation Californian and a Democrat to boot. Both she and Arnold are complete jokes and a major embarrassment to all Californians. I can't wait until he is voted out of office and replaced with Jerry Brown or Gavin Newsom - either one would be far better then the two currently presiding over California.”
Progressiveama replied on Oct 26, 2009 at 17:30:26
“Is there a chance for Jerry Brown???????????? I have loved him for decades, when he said that presidential campaigns should be paid for by allowing one dollar per person to donate and I don't know what for coporations, but MY opinion is $5.
Maria is such a disappointment to Democrats. Teddy had such patience about that sitution, I guess that he would have to. As for Maria hostessing a women's conference, I hope that she includes how to be married to a pig who is chauvenistic, who sexually harrasses women and who knows what else.
I see her as being a traitor to liberal causes.”

Neil Patrick Harris As Emmys Host: How'd He Do? (PHOTOS)

“He was on Broadway in Cabaret - he played the Joel Grey role and was nominated for a Tony so the guy can carry a tune. I think they could have come up with better writing. Did anyone notice that Neil Patrick Harris was the Executive Producer - the "only" Executive Producer for the entire 61st Emmy Award Show? It was his money that funded the entire production and if it fell flat on its back he would be held responsible, both financially and publicly.
It was a great show. He did an amazing job. You've got to hand it to the guy. Let's see YOU pull off something that great!”

“Neil Patrick Harris aka NPH was the best host we've had on an award show in many years. He's funny, talented, a bit on the crazy and heavy on the cute side and kept the show running along nicely. I loved the show from beginning to end and I rarely stay tuned for long once the opening songs are finished but I did here. I can't believe Jon Cryer won for best supporting actor - gimme a break! NPH is far better on HIMYM and for a gay guy, he pulls off the best straight act on TV.
I hope he marries Burtka (who already has a set of twin kids). They look good and seem very happy together and NPH would make a great Dad. I would LOVE him as my Dad! He is so funny but doesn't take himself too seriously and that's refreshing. Great show! Hope he gets the gig for the Oscars!
Go NPH!”

“All women are saints, aren't they? That's the main reason Sean filed for the separation. Obviously he wanted to come off as the bad guy here and spare poor Robin any public humiliation.
I believe he should have won an Oscar for Mystic River. Riveting performance. Looking over Robin's acting history I can't find one role where she could seriously call herself an actress of substance.
Yet, here's a man who became "Mr. Madonna" and has risen far above that.”

“The gay community could only be so lucky. BTW, how is a heterosexual actually "recruited"? Medical studies tell us that 95% of all men engage in or have engaged in a homosexual act of some kind during their lifetime, usually during the prepubescent period when sexual preferences are being discovered. I was the youngest of six very heterosexual brothers but I know each one had their "gay" moment and each has avoided being "recruited". There is no such thing as "homosexual recruitment" - it is a myth and just another one of those fallacies the gay bashers of this world rely on - and you know as well as I do that the most prominent gay bashers are more than likely repressed gay men unwilling to accept their biological fate in life out of fear of being chastised or considered a second class citizen. Thank God times are changing.”

“Gads we love her. She is just one of the most amazing women on earth - not just because she has a voice only God could bestow but a list of traits any one of us would give our right arm for: the talent to take that voice - at an early age - and catapult it into a major billion dollar career; a creativity so overwhelming we can only thank the heavens she has used it for the good of all of us; a deep love and caring for the world - so much so that she pouts herself right out there for the numbchunks to spend years potshotting her over and over. The majority of us would run like measles but not Babs. Goodness, what is she now? She just about to turn 67 years old. Lordy - you have to stand up and applaud the broad for just making it this far. Anybody remember when she sang Happy Days on the Judy Garland show? Or "When The Sun Comes Out" on Ed Sullivan? THOSE were the days! She was unbelievable and unstoppable then. How about the time she smoked a joint onstage at The Forum way back in the 70's? That's something few people talk about!
I love the old girl. Her voice remains "buddah" and if Jason is still single (and gay) I propose to him right now. What Jewish mother wouldn't want her gay son to marry a gay doctor?
Bet wishes to her, James”

Drugs are such an awful plague and we all know it - despite those who demand pot be legal - alcohol is already legal and look what it has done to folks just like the O'Neals - literally distroyed their lives. Redmond still has a chance to turn his life around but it won't be easy. He has to feel lower then low - which is why he keeps trying to drown his problems in heroin, duh... the people who should be in jail are those supplying the drug but we concentrate on those addicted instead and do nothing to seriously get them free of the drug and the pushers.
Here's hoping Farah gets well, Ryan grows up and Redmond finds a viable happy drug-free life.”
