Snubbed By Obama, Fox News's Chris Wallace Calls White House "Biggest Bunch Of Crybabies I've Ever Seen" (VIDEO)

“Had to laugh out loud when they were talking about the "ridiculous my way or the highway" attitude of the Obama administration being a "PR disaster" and "not working for them". Apparently they've forgotten what good ideas they thought "either you're with us or your with the terrorists" and "bring 'em on" were.”

“Matthews just evicerated Rep. Campbell!! "We just had a sideshow here..." Hilarious!”

“It was just that "A SIDE SHOW" The GOP is digging its own grave. We don't need to do anything. Lets just stand on the sidelines and watch the GOP circus with the elephants going around in circles. They are simply unable to digest the fact that a smart african-american man is occupying the White House. The republicans think it is justified in doing so and are ignorant as to how they are percieved from outside.”

But what do you "actually" "know" about Chris Matthews?”

“Cheney's not out there in a conspiracy to attack Obama as much as he's attempting to cover his own arse. As long as he keeps us talking about whether or not waterboarding is torture he can keep us from realizing that his administration used torture to force detainees into giving it the justification to go to war with Iraq. A prisoner will say anything to make the torture stop, and they got them to say what they wanted them to: that there was some connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda.”

manofmystique replied on May 15, 2009 at 16:21:34

“Only a fool would talk about torture while he is under a microcope for suspicion of breaking that very law. No, Cheney is waging a campaign to destory Obama. This is his movtive. And I repeat, the Republicans Party, the same obstructionist Party, is out to sabotage Obama's Presidency and he doesn't give a damn about torture, or what Americans think about torture. Wake up man, all of this is someway, somehow about bringing Obama down.”

“"Progressives invented the American ideal and inspired the American Revolution. Conservatives, then known as Tories, opposed it. Since then, every major advancement in American freedom, democracy, social justice, and economic opportunity has been fostered, fought for, and won by progressives against conservative resistance. Now who's anti-American?"

Commented Dec 19, 2008 at 14:14:27 in Politics

“I agree that the invocation is ceremonial and in no way means Obama embraces any of Warren's views. What bothers me about it, though, is that it would not be acceptable to have a pastor who espoused racist or antisemitic views give the invocation, but it is OK to have one that is anti-gay. The man said that gay marriage and pedophilia are the same thing to him. To me that is just as reprehensible as racism.”

“Bob,

I agree with you (I always do!) about what this move says about the kind of man the President-Elect is. He's definitely a bigger man than I would've been.

My concern, though, is that Joe Lieberman is a NEOCON, and it scares me that he's let anywhere near the homeland security chairmanship or anything related to foreign policy. The reason he forsook his own party and his own domestic policies to support McCain was that it was even more important to him to support the neocon/Israeli agenda in the Middle East. If it were up to him we'd be at war with Iran right now.

I just hope those better angels haven't just given Lucifer a gavel.”

“Carter was a forgiving sort too; we know where that got him. I think that your concerns re/ Joe's being part of homeland security are legitimate; I am not happy about his keeping his subcommittee chairmanship either. But at least McCain was not elected and Joe did not become SOS.”

“"McCain isn't a candidate anymore, but a negative research dump-- a heedless purveyors of distortion and untruth, a man who started off running on his experince, but ends up now as a right-wing caricature stumbling toward defeat with dishonor."

I've never heard it put any better than that! I had a lot of respect for John McCain before this campaign. I'm about as liberal as you get, but I would've considered voting for him over Gore in 2000. But now he's flip-flopped on the Bush tax cuts, on HIS OWN immigration and torture bills, and has sunk to the level of smears, distortions, and lies typical of his party. He was once a better man than that. It's very sad.”

“Great post. Just have to mention a couple of errors that are pet peeves of mine and are certainly unworthy of an author who uses the phrase "both du jour and d'antan":

"media resolutely refuses to obtain"

Please, for the love of god, "media" is a plural word, folks! That should be "media resolutely REFUSE to obtain"

"moderators could have cared less about the content"

No, the moderators COULDN'T have cared less about the content. If they could have cared less, that means they did care some. Ugh!

However, kudos for this line:

"how the candidates would "use" George W. Bush in the future. (As a hat-rack, maybe?)"

Funniest line I've read here in a while.”

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/media
When referring to the media, as in the mass media, i.e., the mass-communication industry comprising journalism and entertainment, media is usually held to be a singular noun (because it is not the plural of medium. It is a term derived from the concept of an industry communicating through different media, e.g., newspapers, television, films, magazines). In all other cases, it is the plural of medium, whether one is referring to artistic media, storage media (e.g., blank media, such as CDs), media players, etc.”
