It's something. Show these people we wont tolerate this stuff anymore. We are taught that we are one person, nothing we can do now. I'm not bashing you, I just hate that someone feels like there can be no difference made. So many people feel like that. Even me many times. I say it's time to stand together. First, we need to get everyone together. It would make Thomas Jefferson proud for sure, who said we needed to have the people do this every once in a while.”

Most of the CEO's calling the shots on this legislation are wealthy enough to be self insured,
so what we really have here is us against them.
I have what is considered good health insurance through work where I've contributed my share for 28 years.
My doctor has good reason to want several tests and I need some major dental work, but guess what?
I can't afford the co-pays and deductibles, so I can't afford to have the work done.
Of course there is no roll over of dedictible expenses, so every year it starts over again.
Insurance does not guarantee medical treatment.
On an 80/20 plan you can still end up owing a fortune.
What the patient ends up paying out of pocket is usually what the procedure should
have cost in the first place. The rest is fluff and profit.”

I find it interesting that family incomes are graded on relationship to the poverty level.
If you are living @ 300% above "poverty" by gosh you're living like a king, right?
What if we did the same thing with the definition of wealthy?
If you earn under a million, you're at the base line, the new middle class.
If you have more money than anyone could possibly need over several life times,
you buy a congressman.”

Medicare, Medicaid, Tri-Care, Chips, Social Security, The Public School System, Unemployment, Food Stamps, as well as your local police and fire first responders ARE ALL SOCIAL PROGRAMS.
Perhaps all these people screaming about socialism, need to re-think what they are saying.
Perhaps we should end all these programs and allow everyone to just fend for themselves?
If you have the money to see a doctor, you go, if you don't you die.
If you need an ambulance, money talks.
Someone breaks into your house, call Ghostbusters!
You lost your job and your children are starving, TOUGH!
Your child can't read or write, SO WHAT!
What we have now is Protectionism for the well connected.
The upper 1% spending billions on bribes to keep the other 99%
from getting their fair share.
These 1%ers are the primary source of all this FEAR and DECEPTION
about social programs.
We bust our butts to scrape by paycheck to paycheck, while the uber-rich
control 80% of this nation's wealth.
Universal health care is a handout to the peasants.
WE are not worthy, we shall grovel at their feet and scramble for whatever table
scraps they throw us.”

It was great to see the Republican's worst nightmare in action last night.
Now the serious bribe money comes into play with who knows how much
addtional cost for earmarks and pork.
Without a strong public option, this health insurance mandate ends up as a windfall
for the insurance companies who play along.
This is not health care for all as it should be.
The American people need the collective power to force drug companies and health care
providers to bid for the lowest prices.
The best solution would still be a single payer, medicare for all plan or something
similar to the German plan, where both public and private plans compete.
We can also lower the long term costs by helping medical students with their education
in return for equal time in public service.
One thing is for sure, we, the working class, already pay more than enough in taxes to deserve health care when we need it.”
