“I hate the idea of chopping down trees to fulfill a temporary and selfish purpose. But I do love the fragrance and the feelings they evoke. Nevertheless, I do not buy a tree for the holidays unless I can replant it. Cutting down a tree is wasteful and stupid. So very 19th century! I was really hoping the Obamas would set a forward thinking example by not doing so. Huge bummer. One day I hope someone in office will have a live tree. Even a small, potted tree satisfies immensely!”

I'd really like to see more proactive behavior taking place (yea, I said it). We've seen some; I want more. A lot more. Especially when it comes to our military. There was an unforgivable amount of negligence left over from the last admin. and we cannot allow any of it to continue. We cannot.”
