Christie Brinkley & Iman Prove That Age Is Nothing But A Number (PHOTOS)

Christie Brinkley & Iman Prove That Age Is Nothing But A Number (PHOTOS)

Commented Nov 13, 2013 at 12:36:26 in Style

“Brinkley is wise to show a tasteful amount of gray and subtle, natural lines around her eyes. Yes, she can afford "personal care", but I would bet she's working on her own a lot to stay looking good. I am 64 and most people peg me for being around 52. I'll take it. Too many women chop their hair short and go pixie or curly and gray at around 60 and they look old for doing it. A longer hairstyle, subtle color, paying attention to moisturizing and regular exercise (and NOT smoking and excess sunbathing or alcohol) is all it takes to keep looking better as you age. Of course stress and health issues over which we have no control are the luck of the draw and many can't help their appearance; but, I find many women my age are just too lazy to be bothered with their appearance any longer. And having an active, healthy sex life will keep you young longer than anything.”

“Grandma, I'm 40 something and have a very fashionable pixie that doesn't look old. It's a timeless style and shows that I have nothing to hide around my eyes or on my forehead. Good luck with your out-of-date mop.”

MMJones on Nov 13, 2013 at 12:56:19

“Bingo. I am also 64 and you outlined all of my "secrets" to not looking elderly. I still run, albeit slower, do not smoke, don't drink (because I have no choice), watch my varied diet. I have a regular skin care routine, and wear my hair in a long, loose ponytail or chignon. As far as sex life, I'm a great fan of the Use It or Lose It school, and no complaints from my 70-yr-old spouse. Because this has pretty much been my physical path since changing my life radically at age 30 (or die), these later decades are the payoff I never expected but am grateful for. Biggest bonus? My almost-30 daughter following same road! (And no, I have not had what would be called a "privileged" life.)”

“And to every rule, there is the exception. That's why we have 95-year-olds who have smoked their whole adult lives, drank 3 -4 shots a day, and never exercised. I have concluded that the best way to live longer is to ignore the stories on how to live longer and not worry. Oh, and stay sexually active.”

“The President cannot do anything without Congress. Congress makes the laws. If you're not happy with the performance of the most childish Congress I can remember, vote them out of office. There are no term limits, they'd never approve term limits that would put themselves out of a cushy "job", so vote them out. Most especially, all of the long-term members. They have gotten way too comfortable with their power and a younger crowd may just have a more realistic idea about what ails the majority of this country.”

LordsandSerfs on Dec 28, 2012 at 10:38:49

“The problem is that Obama is just slightly to the left of these pigs. He could certainly threaten the "pork" to these people's constituents. He could sign several executive orders that would put a world of hurt on these people. I for one am sick of these insignificant little red states and their "rural" constituencies benefitting most from government while trying to tear it apart for everyone else. They need to feel the pain. If they can't fund NYC to help the relief from Sandy, then they certainly cannot afford another Missile Defense or Tank factory in South Carolina or Alabama.”

Virginia Examiner on Dec 28, 2012 at 10:29:47

“So, you're smoking dope again, huh? In case you haven't noticed, the Executive Branch has come to a point where Congress is nothing more than a punching bag to which President chooses to project blame on when the public goes nuts over the new rules and regulations, let alone the new taxes. Congress, on the other hand, is without the balls to collectively act against the ceding of dubious authority to the execuitive branch. The "balance of power" is no more, and the 4th estate is in collusion with the executive branch to keep it that way in order to preserve their elitist status as well.”

Bernie Fine Sex Abuse Scandal: Syracuse Police Investigate As Basketball Coach Placed On Leave

Commented Nov 18, 2011 at 14:41:17 in Sports

“The man accusing Bernie Fine of abuse is now 39 years old. The alleged activities took place during the 1987 Final Four (age 15) and continued into th 1990's into the man's adulthood. What? How come he kept going back for more as an adult? And the supposed 2nd victim is victim #1's stepbrother? And why now, after all these years? Don't believe a word of this crap. Any fairytale like this will make the storyteller money with the media. It's all about the cash. Shame on ESPN for ever giving this guy a forum. Too bad it starts to cast doubt on real victims. I'll support Bernie Fine until IF and WHEN something called proof is revealed. What a mentally imbalanced society we've become.”

“Now, if only the video game industry would stop promoting extreme violence where children and young adults, as well as older adults, get to practice being violent killers and rapists.”

“Video games (like film) have a self-imposed ratings system that informs the potential customer of any 'controversial' material contained therein. Any games containing extreme violence (or rape, but I haven't seen any American games where that is a 'goal) are likely to be rated for 'Adults Only', so they're not promoted to children or young adults. Older adults should be able to make their own decisions on what escapist fantasy they opt into. Censorship is wrong, but believing that it would actually curtail violence in our society is ludicrous.”

jessicadevyn on Dec 18, 2012 at 12:56:45

“The "wall" sex tease is great foreplay. So is the telephone. Fantasy play occasionally is also great. And accept reality once in the while. I've met my husband at the door obviously "ready to go and dressed for success" when he's come home for work, and the first thing he asked was "what's for dinner"!
Keep on laughing together, The rest will follow.”

Killjoy on Oct 9, 2012 at 22:43:38

“Being spontaneous is great as well , once my wife and I were returning from a ball one night, a mean all dolled up type evening gown and everything. On the way home she said she have to pee. I was like the "next rest stop is a few miles"; she said she can’t wait and directed me to pull over in an open field that was on the route home. I was like “seriously WTF!” After a stern and resounding "just do it". I came up on the area and pulled into the field. I was like this is very disturbing; she hopped out and went behind the car. I was like “any day you want to hurry up before some cop shows up love”. She didn’t answer and for a few seconds I was like what the hell. She summons me out of the car as if she had issues back there. When I went to see what could possibly be taking so long there she was, bent over the trunk, ass up, no underwear, high heels, and evening gown gathered up around her waist…I was like OMG! Needless to say..the next course of action was riveting. I mean you can see car lights driving by and everything. I was scared than a mother*&eker! But that shit was the best!”

“Great article. I'm 63 and my husband is 62, been married 34 years. We have good sex almost every morning and it's for BOTH of us, not just one. We frequently have "play dates" on the weekend where we indulge in our fantasies. An orgasm a day (and sometimes 2 or 3) keeps depression away. Words of advice...you need to keep yourself limber and in reasonably good health if you're going to always enjoy good sex. Staying in realistically decent shape for your age and accepting the changes that occur with age matters a LOT. And I'm a living testament to the fact that woman don't necessarily dry up as they get older.”
