Obama Administration Resignations: 10 People Who Quit

Commented Nov 25, 2009 at 14:46:42 in Politics

“How does that fit w/ Van Jones and Anita Dunn. If they were never for the President and didn't support the President... why did he choose them?

I admit... I don't think these resignation are necessarily a big deal... however, it doesn't do any good to make up false arguments about them.”

MorgaineChya replied on Nov 25, 2009 at 15:00:56

“IMO, any ethical person would have quit Obama's administration when Obama appointed a Raytheon (Tomahawk missles) vice president and lobbyist to two WH administrations to the second-most powerful position in the Defense Department: Secretary of Defense.

Obama broke one of his signature campaign promises almost immediately after the election, appointing William Lynn (the Deputy Sectretary of Defense).

Then, less than one month following his election, Obama sent 13,000 additional American soldiers to Afghanistan, and another 17,000 in October.

Obama, sued for pubic access to the WH visitation logs, finally agreed to release SOME of them, but the ones from his inauguration through July 31, 2009 he still refuses to make available to the public.

That's the second big campaign promise he broke.

Of concern is the fact that, for the troops to be sent so quickly after his inauguration, there was considerable work on escalating America's presence in Afghanistan before the first batch of troops were sent in February.

We need to have access to the WH visitors' log to see who was seeing both William Lynn, Obama, and other WH staff and officials.

Again, Obama has turned out to be a Ii ar and a bait-and-switch skam artist. Our soldiers are paying the price for it. Anybody with any ethics would resign from the Obama administration. The ones who stay--their hands are as bl000dy as are Obama's.”

“Actually banking clubs aren't a new thing especially among family members. A few years ago, Black Enterprise did an article on how successfully some of them have been. and if the money isn't in a bank... there's no need for FDIC insurance. I believe a better, more simpler way is to bond the person(s) responsible for holding the money.”

“I really wish I had some good ideas on how to change the model. Too many of us are too distracted w/ life issues to really get involved. Others... too distracted w/ partisan bickering and blame. My first suggestion... that I've been making is to change party affiliation to independent... but again... too many are concerned w/ closed primary states (although if you are no longer a member of the party... why bother voting in the party's primary). Mass demonstrations? Our police state has gotten too strong... and people have been condition to be afraid of protesters.

Whatever... will probably take some serious "out of the box" thinking.”

Will you quit it w/ the Global warming and climate change emails !!!!!!

First... it was the war thread... now the bank thread. Seriously... you make it hard NOT to believe that all you do is get your talking points from Rush, et al... when you interject and entirely different conversation than the one we're at least trying to discuss. Come on... I know you have some old banking comments you can rely on.”
