“He has improved our international image, he has taken steps to help the unemployed rather than just toss them in the street, he put an end to our military involvement in Iraq - need I go on?”
I once had a Crysknife replied on Dec 22, 2009 at 11:10:33
“Yes you need to go on, because really nothing you mentioned helps us domestically. You can argue that we are saving a bunch of money by pulling out of Iraq and to some extent that's true. However they money we spend on the troops salaries get spent just the same here or abroad. The money we spend on contractors is spent on American contractors and that money finds it's way back here as well. Either way the taxpayers are giving their money up and it's transfering right back in to the hands of some other American. If you want real reform you have to cut the pursestrings of Congress to force them to choose priorities more consistant with the American people. Right now we just roll over and give them our hard earned money to blow.”

“As for an approval rating below 50%, he is not alone.
"Of the post-World War II presidents, Obama now is the fourth fastest to drop below the majority approval level, doing so in his 10th month on the job. Gerald Ford dropped below 50% approval during his third month in office, and Bill Clinton did so in his fourth month. Ronald Reagan, like Obama, also dropped below 50% in his 10th month in office, though Reagan's drop occurred a few days sooner in that month (Nov. 13-16, 1981) than did Obama's (Nov. 17-19, 2009)." Reagan and Clinton went on to win second terms, Clinton fell below 50% in his 4th month in office - yet in many ways was a good POTUS.”

ESTABLISH FOUR CORE MISSIONS for the U.S. military:
defend the American homeland;
fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous major theater wars;
perform the “constabulary” duties associated with shaping the security environment in critical regions;
transform U.S. forces to exploit the “revolution in military affairs”
Sounds like old fashion Stalism.”

“"Bush came into office with an advantage few presidents have enjoyed -- a $230 billion surplus. But due to a $1.35 trillion tax cut in 2001, a $1.5 trillion tax cut in 2003, and a massive defense buildup through the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Bush quickly blew through that surplus. The next president will "inherit a fiscal meltdown," Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad (D-ND) warned in February 2008, as the Bush administration projected a budget deficit of $400 billion. After the financial crisis emerged last fall and the ensuing bailouts, Bush's budget deficit ballooned to over $1 trillion." source http://www .huffingto npost.com/ the-progre ss-report/ the-bush-d eficit_b_1 69475.html”

The teabaggers are hypocrites, they were silent when Reagan and the two bushes spent our futures away. But once a black man gets elected, they crawl out of the woodwork and grumble. The fact they are carrying racist signs and shouting racist slurs, not only against Obama but against his family, only proves to me that the teabaggers is in reality a collection of racist and bigot groups hiding their hatred of a black man behind the fake concerns over spending.”
