“Yes, I found his treatment of Dr. Dean quite rude and unprofessional. I think he just talks sometimes just to hear himself speak, creates non-issues to argue about under the guise of being "fair" and unbiased, but he usually ends up imploding like he did here. If Dean were a lesser man, he would have followed Matthews to the gutter and the exchange could have taken a much uglier turn. Matthews should be ashamed and embarrazzed after watching this clip of himself.
That senator seems to be suffering from IQ deficiency.”

Anthony Weiner Mocks Lieberman For Medicare Flip-Flop
Commented Dec 16, 2009 at 08:29:01 in Politics
“Great statement by Weiner. In my opinion, Joe Lieberman is derelict in his duty, he has perverted his job and by extension compromised the entire government. He must be ousted. There is no way what he is doing can stand.”

“I disagree. I think he would have made a great president. I honestly don't think he would be like Obama--run one way in the campaign, then flip it a 180. I just don't see Dean being that contrived.”

“The only way to unseat Obama is in the 2012 Democratic Primary election.
The media will be against Dean all the way.
Delusional Democratic voters will be tough to sway. They will fall for every gimmick: The media will talk about others so often, you'll think Dean didn't exist. Polls will show this and that, which bode poorly for Dean. Polls will show Dean losing against Republicans. Video of his legendary scream will return. He will be vilified by DINOs like Lieberman, except it won't be Lieberman; it will be someone unexpected, like Jim Webb, who will simply support someone else. They will talk of the difficulties for a polarizing figure like Dean to govern and bring people together. He will be cast as an extremist within the Democratic Party. It will be ugly.
If he does win, he will be pressured to pick a centrist, like Lieberman, as his running mate to gain the Independent-- or someone, like Webb, to win the South.
If he does win, every Republican pundit will talk of the importance of governing in the center, to appease Independents, without whom, they will say, he will not win RE-ELECTION.
Every stunt to frame the debate and control the message will be used against him.
The only way to win is to start early and win the 2012 Democratic Primary.”

“I hope so. I so hope so. This country needs him. Big time. And the current administration not only doesn't appreciates him but even loathes him for some reason. They have the nerve to be angry at him instead of Joe Lieberman. I think it's time for Dr. Dean to give them something to REALLY be angry about! lol”
lemonyashes replied on Dec 16, 2009 at 07:47:05
“And I hope so too:) It makes NO SENSE that Lieberman can say NO time after time but if Dean days NO now that's almost criminal. I've figured out the more they shout against something that seems contrary the more you find that that is the very thing that is good for us. So if they are mad at Dean but not Lieberman it is because Dean is offering something much better and they don't want you (the people) to know it and h@te it when someone sounds the sirens.”
