“I watched MTP Sunday for the first time in months. Rachel is the reason I watched. I never liked Gregory and so miss Tim Russert. I love Rachel but think it would be too soon for her on a show like MTP. She knows her stuff but I think it would be difficult for her to go to a panel show right after having her own show. Lawrence is great also but that interview with that one Republican Congressman was a little off and into crazy land. Lawrence is not usually like the other's on MSNBC that interrupt their guests even if they are acting like an idiot. He can usually handle them without getting wild. That is what I like about him. “Hello all,

My name is Pam and I am an alcoholic. I have been sober for 22 years last May. I spent 7 years of alcoholic drinking telling my therapist that until there was a 12 step program that did not use god I wouldn't go to meetings. Eventually I had to go to a rehab just to keep on living. I embraced AA and used it sometimes three for four times a day for years. I tried the god business but found it very difficult for me to "get". I continued AA until about my 18 year of sobriety at which time I retired to moved to the South. I seldom go to meetings these days but I still use the 12 steps in my daily life. I would say that it was like a college education for me. I learned and i practice even without going to meetings. I currently do volunteer work for an organization that keeps me intouch with people who need recovery//help in living. It keeps me in touch with reality. Actually, the meetings in my area are very god focused and I find it difficult to attend these meetings. I do see a therapist on an as needed basis and that also keeps me sane. I believe as I have told many people that HOWEVER you get sober doesn't matter. One just needs to get sober. If it works for you it works for me!!”

“I live in Florida and unfortunately in his district. I sent him an email about how stupid his bill was when I first heard about it. Of course after that they called my house a few times looking for support. Yea, right, oh well I guess they will try anything once. I finally told them not to call and I was NOT a supporter just a complainer. It is embarrassing to have him here but then I knew Florida was Republican before I moved here.
