There was a terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in 1993, but the Clinton administration caught the terrorists and prosecuted them, which resulted in convictions. Now the Obama administration is trying to prosecute the mastermind of 9/11 and the followers of Bush are saying they should not be tried in a court of law. How does this make sense in our democracy?”

Palin as president will never happen. Her negative poll ratings are so bad; she sounds nonsensical every time she opens her mouth; she is a quitter; and she would be demolished in any debate with Obama.”

“FDR created new jobs with the CCC, WPA and other like agencies. Men who could not otherwise find work joined up, built roads, bridges and parks, which added to the US infrastructure and had some extra money to send home. Obama could do this and add building rail lines to the list, as the railroads took up some of the lines years ago. We need rail travel again. Of course conservatives would have a collective stroke, but another New Deal would get the country back to work.”

There was anger at Bush's lying us into a war that broke our economy, but we did not threaten violence or make teddy bears with vengeful Biblical verses on them about Bush. These neoconfederates who support Palin's bubble-headed persona and ghostwritten book are horribly un-American!”

“Well, the masses have been given a glimpse of just how cavalierly Queen Sarah treats her minions. Let them eat cake! If this incident is any indication (and I hope it is), Sarah is now showing how she treats "the little people" and will quickly exhaust her second 15 minutes of fame.”

“Plus, guests on a Sarah Palin Show may find it difficult to answer questions which are more like a word salad than salient questions. But it might be a good idea for her to do a talk show, where she might unveil her lack of class and dignity and true barracuda nature.
As for the others mentioned, only Katie Couric has the news background, the smarts, the feminine sensibility and the ABILITY to pin serious guests down, while having fun with the fluffy topics, as Oprah has. But Couric is beyond that, anchoring the CBS Evening News. So I would tend to go with Ellen. Despite her comic approach, she is actually quite smart, seems to study the backgrounds of her guests and is as approachable as Oprah. But hers is a more showbiz-oriented show, while Oprah could interview entertainers yet do a complete show on one medical, political or other serious topic.”

And instead of working harder, Palin has QUIT being governor, abandoning the citizens of Alaska she swore to serve. Now she comes out with this self-serving book apparently filled with lies about everything from her daughter's pregnancy timeline to the money she says she had to pay to be "vetted" when it was the legal costs of ethical problems like Troopergate. Thankfully, if this self-described "rogue" (definition: deceitful person) ever runs again for public office, her opponents will have hundreds of pages on the record with which to tear her campaign to shreds.”
