A little far fetched to say the least because:
1. Hank and Gomez are DEA agents. Not some beat the street cops. So to me there first instinct, knowing they are outgunned, would be to defuse the situation at all costs. Show the stinking badges! They could even lie and say there is a QRF coming and give them a chance to leave. Shootout would be last resort.
2. The Nazis clearly came to help Walt. Why not use Walt as hostage or shield?
3. A full automatic is the hands of inexperienced user is terribly in accurate. So I can let that slide, barely, but again how can two DEA agents who have to continually remain qualified with firearms be that bad of shots? And on top of that Hank just cutting loose without it seeming like he was aiming.
4. And finally, those rounds would go thru that Tahoe like knife thru butter so no way Walt could survive.”
And how did the cop, wearing a gun, not get pulled against the wall with the evidence?”

“I thought the same thing. Wouldn't his badge fly off too?”

“Magnetic field strength varies inversely with the cube of the distance from the source, so those things closest to the magnet encountered a much much greater field strength than those things farther away, like the officer standing in the door and the cabinets farther away from the wall. In fact, I really doubt that this would work in real life at all.”

“I thought the metal filing cabinets behind the cop would go along with him as well. Good observation.”
