“Bill Moyers has been an intelligent and thorough journalist during a time when that field has hung up its collective integrity to dry. His reports have dared to tell the truth, so much so that the Bush Administration tried to silence him and actually were able to do just that by canceling his previous show.

The idea that we won't have Moyers advocating for the truth makes me wince and leaves me greatly saddened. Having said all of that, Mr. Moyers is right, he's certainly put in his time and at his age, he deserves some "time off" from a weekly grind. However, I have a hunch that we have not seen the last of this great man...”

“Well then, perhaps you're right, but I think I will take my cue from the facts after they roll in. I find facts are more reliable than peoples judgments, imaginations or biases.

“I must say that Beau Friedlander's theory about why this happened seems just a bit overzealous and premature, as it's all simply too easy, too flip and perhaps also wrong. I think that IF we need to take a moment or two to find out more evidence about this event, we just may discover another answer here.

All of the facts are not in on this horrid affair and although Mr.Friedla­nder's opinion may end up being correct, I would offer there may be many other reasons why this happened that could bring us closer to the truth.

Although the media has not deemed this to be a terrorist related attack, it most certainly seems to me this may have been premeditated and cooked up beforehand to kill off as many Americans as possible BEFORE our country sent them into harms way. He was trained by our military, understood our military and had the proximity to our military that gave him the opportunities needed to perform something as atrocious as what we witnessed today. Having said that, at this point we simply don't have enough facts to really know anything for certain.

So, did he just "crack" under the strain of deployment OR was it something else? I think it behooves us all to take a minute and think and watch and wait before we come to our canned responses as to why this happened..­.”

“For goodness sakes, FASHION IS NOT ABOUT REALITY, it is about the fantasy of beauty in different forms and draws inspiration from the different venues. The author of this article likes to call this "Black Face" to which I take offense actually and is insulting to anyone with a sense of an adventurous aesthetic.

Fashion is about makeup, clothing, fantasy and your imagination; thus this piece merely took it all to a new level. I would have loved to have seen myself turned into many beautiful and varied nationalities and do not see how that could be construed as anything hateful or bigoted.

“I actually used to listen to Lou Dobbs on CNN every day, but then he started getting odd, then weird and finally his diagnosis evolved into stark raving NUTZ. That's when I turned him off and took a bath.

Since then I have tried to tune in to listen to what I once thought was an intelligent man, just ot one of my own...none the less bright. “I can't say I'm surprised by the fall of CNN as their supposed news division has been a weak excuse for good journalism. Unfortunately, that network hasn't had objective and accurate news for many a year.

Sure they occasionally get it right, but their news is interjected with opinion pieces while being described as unbiased reporting. It's a disgraceful joke and it appears the public has begun to catch on.

This is total and absurd swill; one that is powerfully thick with hero love, instead of clear sight. People can watch or not watch these people in the movies, that's not really the point, the point is that they are no better than you nor me; they just may have one heck of a lot more money than either of us. That alone gives no authorization to be disrespectful to anyone..”
