“Baby Boomers are obsessed with their fantasy afterlife, only to trample through everything in their life like they already owned it all, and in the process have abandoned reason & morals to justify their false beliefs and version of reality. This is the generation that elected American Traitors like Regan, Clinton and Bush, just so they can continue their hyper-consumerist lifestyle. Boomers are champs of ignoring reality, which is rapidly crashing upon them, but only after hitting us Millennials first.”
“Ah, you must be one of those who needs to be led by those you deem to be wiser than yourself. At what age did your parents tell you to take big government as your surrogate parent to lead you through life? What age did they teach you to fear liberty and embrace rule and control by big govenrment? One must be a mature and reasonable adult to enjoy liberty. Perhaps one day you will grow into it. Until then enjoy your status as a subject.”
People love his rhetoric, but his embrace of Republican economic policies prove he is not too bright. We must humiliate him all over the internet, before he has a chance of become a train-wreck president!”
“Unfortunately, Reid is debating how far to reform, and the reason is money.
The filibuster has been abused by minority power not just by the Republicans, but the corporations that pay off Senators to block bills they don't favor. Under RepubliCon leadership of nearly 30 years, this gross injustice has become business as usual in the Senate.
Unlike Progressives, many "New Democrats" aka "Wall St Democrats", are fond of this tactic as well, and have openly embraced it over the years. Well, they are ConservaDems, so what can you expect?
The real debate here for Dem establishment is if they can afford to lose so much corporate money, nothing more. Those poor things.”

So the debate here is if they can afford to lose all that money.

“We may have to agree to disagree on this one.
i see Reid's only reluctance being that eventually the Dems will be in the minority. If he kills the filibuster completely, the tables will turn.
Also, about the filibusters being solely for financial gain. You may have to explain to me who would pay to filibuster federal judge appointments. At this time there are still 85 not approved via filibusters.
Unless the reps do it primarily for money and sometimes for fun.”
“This is exactly the time to voice support, and not hide behind some archaic laws created by racists. We should petition the whitehouse, demand it.”

“Last night I dreamt that 10% of the cannabis smokers showed up at their local police stations with a lit one and overwhelmed the system finally bringing this national disgrace to the forefront. Silly me.....”
“CORY BOOKER is a Wall St Democrat. In the election, he defended Romney, saying the attacks "made him sick". Now the cat's out of the bag, and Booker is trying to desperately save face.”

“I believe you have taken that out of context. He was talking about the poklitical climate in Washington that makes him sick. He wasn't defending Romney as much as his right to run and have his own opinions. He has been a good Mayor and people make decisions on his record, not one conversation.”
