Why Joe Biden Should Resign

Why Joe Biden Should Resign

Commented Oct 14, 2009 at 16:20:33 in World

“I disagree most strongly. Biden should not resign. It will not be his fault if the President decides to send any amount of troops to Afghanistan. It is preposterous to even suggest such a thing. Biden is doing a great job as VP and should not resign.”

Gay Rights Speech: What Should Obama Say Tonight?

Commented Oct 10, 2009 at 18:47:17 in Politics

“This speech will be pivotal in protecting the rights of our gay brothers and sisters. It will also play a key role in restoring the faith of the gay community in this president. I am certain he is committed to repealing DADT and MODA. Gay Americans must be allowed to serve openly in the forces. Also Gay marriage must be protected. Prop must be repealed and the President should say so.”

GayMark replied on Oct 10, 2009 at 18:53:56

“Your evidence that he is committed to the repeal of DADT? DOMA? Or are you just being audaciously hopeful?

It'll be very difficult for him to the faith of the LGBTs back. After Rick Warren alone, before he even took office, he burned us badly. In the furor over that, he declared himself a "fierce advocate" of LGBT rights. But there isn't a SINGLE shred of evidence to support that claim. Not one piece of legislation, not one promise to the LGBT community kept. NOT. ONE.

He has a very tall mountain to climb. He needs to repeal DADT immediately. Anything less than that will be a failure.”

“Our soldiers are brave enough to face dangers where they can get killed. The Pentagon and Gates included don't want support for this 8 year old war to go down which it already is. The MSM is very much part of this censorship. They have been for years. Good on AP to release this photo. As much as I would like to get OBL I don't think it's a good idea to send more troops. We need to set a deadline and get out.”

“MSNBC should never have hired this man. He is racist and yet we continue to see him on Hardball or Morning Joe. His comments over the years can't be defended and should not be defended. He's MSNBC's answer to Glenn Beck, and O'Reilly.”

“Joe from morning Joe is attracted the Pat Bucanan and this will tell you more about Joe then Pat who i see as a real anti semite and racist.

Any Jew reading this will be every sensitive to Pats statement and he knows that. The fact that Pat decides to put a twist on history during a time when Jews sadly look back and pray is disgusting.

Oat does not hide his distain for Jews and has race issues as well by rewriting history so it fits his own demented mind.

I do not watch morning Joe because he never changed from when his program started as a bully who would cut someone off fast if they have a great counter to his argument.

The fact Joe has Pat on so often is a reflection of Joes true feeling .”

“This was erratic. She seems out of control. It was apparent during the campaign last year the way she was inciting the crowds to violence with speeches about Ayers and Obama. And her over the top reaction to Letterman's joke. If you want to run for president you stay at your current job and excel at it you don't throw it all away. Which is what she's done.”

“I strongly oppose Sen. Obama's decision to vote for this bill. Despite his feeble defense of it, it is a bad bill and should not pass as it gives Bush everything he asked for. But I also understand why Obama is doing this. The McCain campaign will hit Obama with everything they can find. They are lying and smearing him in every way possible. So I understand why Obama is choosing to vote for this bill. While I want Obama to filibuster or place a hold on this bill I also want him to be the next POTUS. He is still the best candidate we have seen in the dem party in decades. I truly believe in his message of hope and change. I am not about to give up on Obama's message of true change in Washington. He will protect the Constitution and he will defend it. I believe that an Obama Justice department will prosecute the telecoms and members of the Bush administration if they find that laws have been broken which have. On Nov 4 I will cast my ballot for Obama and hope others will do so as well.”

The American people have soundly rejected her in spite of her dirty campaign tricks and pandering to the O'Reillys and Limbaughs on the right. She said she would try to unite the party and now it is time for her to walk the talk and do that. Even if she gets the delegates from FL and MI seated she still can't over take Obama for this nomination. He will be the dem nominee and he will defeat McCain in Nov.”

“Kudos to Arianna for exposing McCain for his double talk. He has flipped flopped so many times it is hard to keep track of his lies. His not voting for Bush in 2000 will unnerve the neocons who are reluctantly backing him right now. He has proven that he will say or do anything to win the presidency along the way he sold his integrity to the highest neocon bidder.”

Also Moveon.org endorsed Obama only after members overwhelmingly chose him. If she is claiming that party activists are intimidating her supporters than she should provide concrete proof of this. “Your presumption is wrong. He didn't take money from these "poor" people, they willingly contributed to him because the believe in him. At least he didn't take money from the Wall Street firms, pharmaceutical firms, health insurance firms and lobbyists that Hillary took money from. She took more money from lobbyists than any candidate. Obama raised this money from average Americans who want to be heard. The Clintons made 109 million dollars and you call Obama and elitist.”

bauersox replied on Apr 18, 2008 at 08:40:02

“Oh, really? Have you ever looked at the list of Obama's chief donors?
http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/contrib.asp?id=N00009638

Look at that list. Among the top ten, five are major Wall Street firms, including Goldman Sachs, UBS, Citicorp, JPMorgan Chase, Lehman Bros. Exelon Corp, which wants to turn America into a nuclear waste dump with Obama's help is also high up on that list.

Making a lot of money doesn't make a person an elitist. Looking down his nose at others and treating their lives and ideas with contempt is what makes an elitist. Dismissing people's religion and culture as being the result of economic bitterness is a very elitist thing to say.”

“Ms. Fowler has very little credibility in my book. Her bias against the Obamas is apparent in her ridiculous comparison of Michelle Obama of all things to Catwoman. She writes glowing about a speech where the media was not present yet is sharp in her criticism of Mrs. Obama when she talks about the same themes where the media is present. And what is wrong if Mrs. Obama used the word "elite" it was Fowler who first suggested that Obama was elitist in her "bitter" article.”
