I would respectfully recommend that you seek treatment at a hyperbaric oxygen center. Although it is an experimental therapy for treating TBIs, the success rate in reversing cognitive deficits and alleviating symptoms has surprised me (I was in charge of managing a small research arm for a national hyperbaric study for TBI). The recent report from Efrati et al. on reversing deficits due to stroke (PLOS ONE, January 2013 | Volume 8 | Issue 1 | e53716) clearly indicate a neurological repair process. Other smaller studies corroborate the effects of HBOT on TBI improvement.”
“It is amazing to watch an Institution like Alliant falling into a budgetary crisis. The faculty and staff were asked repeatedly by top administrators to re-organize, take up more work and streamline operations. They did so, thereby increasing student application and maintaining quality of education. Now the staff and faculty are asked to do more with less. There is something fundamentally flawed with this picture!
Is it the intent of the Adminstration to load up Alliant with debt, increase upper management pay and then sell off the school to a For Profit entity (a la Bain Capital)? The fundamental question that has not been raised is the following: Are there any members of the Administration (or family members of the Administrator) that are sitting in the boards of potential buyers?”
