FAMU Students Offended By Gov. Rick Scott's Response At Protest

FAMU Students Offended By Gov. Rick Scott's Response At Protest

“I agree with you. Considering that he was of sound body and mind, the decisions he made were completely his own. It really sucks that it happened, but at 26, you should not be so easily influenced and so willing to put yourself in a dangerous situation to fit in. I'd be thoroughly PISSED if I was FAMU's president, because the truth of the matter is, he probably didn't know just how bad the hazing was. Hazing takes place at different levels. Sometimes, a person doesn't even get hit (which is what most people call hazing), and now this man may be losing his job? The students involved should be punished, yes. Kicked out of the band and school, yes. Time in jail? A few months at the most.”

“Brittany, I appreciate the fact that you have common sense enough to know that. Obviously, others are lacking that sense. She is definitely a role model to kids who look up to her. That doesn't mean she's a positive influence, though.”

“Role models are people that other people look up to and possibly aspire to be. There are many girls out there who look up to and aspire to be like Kim K, which makes her a role model. Mind you, Perry never actually said Kim was a "role model." This lets you know that he probably doesn't think that, but sees her influence to younger generations.”

“I'm trying not to be rude, but he actually did say just that. He wanted more publicity and he wanted younger people to see his movie and since Kim K. can pull in that audience because "Kardashian... is one of the most influential public figures in the eyes of teenagers," he cast her for the past. Casting Kim K. will bring in a different audience, both black (have you seen MTV's Chelsea Settles), white and otherwise who are fans of Kim, but not necessarily fans of Tyler Perry. The backlash will come from his fans choosing not to support him because she's in the movie--I personally think that's idiotic. But America is the nation of idiots.”

“Kim Kardashian want do anything for his image. People already thinks his movie his garbage...putting anyone from the gypsy family will solidify him as King of gar bage.”

'We Found Love' Video Released: Rihanna Goes On A Sexy Drug Trip

“No one is hating on Rihanna or apologizing for Chris. It truly seems that Rihanna has taken the Chris Brown situation and turned that into her career. He was NINETEEN when that happened and while 19 is old enough to know you're doing something wrong, he was still a child (by mind) who made a horrendous mistake. It is not RIHANNA'S or your job or anybody's else's job to judge him for that or to continuously bring it up. I assume you haven't beat anyone in your life--neither have I--but I've made other mistakes, like cheating in a relationship, overeating when I knew I could have shared, etc. These are all sins, so we by no means have the right to judge Chris or think that it's okay for Rihanna to use it for personal gain.”
