'World's Fastest Train' Unveiled In China

'World's Fastest Train' Unveiled In China

Commented Dec 27, 2009 at 21:27:28 in World

“maybe after Cina buys up all our prime foreclosures, they'll build the US a real passenger train system, especially in the Northeast”

mike72 replied on Dec 27, 2009 at 22:05:37

“But of course all those trillions vaporized does not match up to a single high speed train in term of economic and social impacts. You can see how damaging this "virtula economy" is sucking the juice out of our land and keep us in the vicous cycle of decay.

US, wake up!”

mike72 replied on Dec 27, 2009 at 22:02:30

“The total potential sub-prime default is ONLY $500 Billions! China lost $300 Billions alone this year from US currency devaluation.

Subprime default is never the issue. It is the sepculation upon the subprime that is the root cause of the problem, which vaporize trillions in dollars.”

Where's The Plan On Foreclosures? Force Banks To Reduce Loans!

“Oh now you're adding stuff to try to get us to say "the banks". You seem to have a chip on your shoulder towards your so-called "non-paying customer".
I say let the bankruptcy judges have at it case by case.
You say "the banks" should mitigate their losses first-- that's the reality so far.”

“C - the taxpayers who bailed out the bank, therefore saving the bank's a$$ to live another day and allow A to keep the house.

Regardless, in most cases, the homes are going to auction after foreclosure for a fraction of A's note.”

John Galt2 replied on Dec 27, 2009 at 12:19:44

“Suppose the bank in question received no bailouts - why must they let a non-paying customer stay in their home, rather than mitigate their losses via foreclosure?

If the "fraction" of A's note received via foreclosure is estimated to be more than the fraction they expect to receive in the future, why can't the bank work to mitigate their loss?”

This pic on the 25th was a pitbull, not the dog above. Regardless, I'm just adding comment concerning agressiveness of dogs.”

“When Bernie first checked in to prison, his cell mate Big Bubba greeted him with;

"Names Big Bubba. Now, does you wanna be the husband or the wife?"

Whereupon Bernie replied,

"Oh, no, no, no... You don't understand... see, I'm a white collar criminal. I'll probably only do a year or two. I just want to mind my own business, keep my nose clean, and get out early for good behavior."

Again, Big Bubba axed, "I SAID, Does you wanna be the husband, or the wife?!"

Bernie again demurs, "No, you don't understand....

This time Big Bubba says in a big, booming voice:

"I'm NOT gonna axe you again! DOES YOU WANNA BE THE HUSBAND OR THE WIFE?!"

Cowering fearfully, Bernie finally replies;

"Well then... I guess I'll be the husband."

Big Bubba says, "Good, now get over here and suck your wife's d*ck."”

“there should be restrictions and/or licensing to own pitbulls. Sure they can be nice dogs, but they are dogs -- who have the potential to k ill and mame with those powerful jaws.

i woke up my 6 pound papillon once and he bit me. He drew a drop of my blood. . However, I was able to rebound quickly and chase the little MFer out the room. A dog is a dog.”

“yes. for me this recession has been a life changing exerience. I'm more at peace with myself because I've let go of a lot of things-- material and mental. My definition of success has changed. My ego use to be heavily tied to how I looked on paper, i.e. credit scores, credit worthiness etc. Too bad more of me was based on my own "paper".

This recession is exposing the modern day sla ve owners. To me, its a wake up call for us to start caring about the little folks and each other alot more. Back to the basics for me.”
