“Why buy a house you can't afford? Losing a job is always a possibility even in a good economy.
It’s only been in the last 10-20 years that people think of their homes as a short term investment rather than a place to live and put down roots. All of these 40 and 50 year olds, running around like Chicken Little crying the sky is falling. They don’t have the depth of experience nor do they have a memory recalling their parents and grandparents talking about past recessions.
It’s not my fault I didn’t plan for my future. It’s someone else’s fault.
Maybe this next generation of youngsters born of the current college graduates will be taught better life planning skills and responsibilities.

“I think it is fascinating and sad. She lost 3 sons and a husband and the only son left found her an embarrassment. Sure she was messed up. And I've heard that she was loaded on opiates. Not much different from today's celebrities with their prescription drug addictions. Anyway, I'm sure the "trial" will be interesting and informative so why not.”

“Sure... They do it all the time, on things more earthshattering than this. How many were aware of the original trial? And since when is mental illness an OFFENCE that needs to be TRIED, and defended agaimst? Could they have sentenced her to 99 years for it?”
“We have this new state of mind already with the Republicans wanting to do away with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the EPA.
Here yee, here yee bring out your dead and dying. Drag them to the end of the block someone will up pick up the bodies latter today.”
