“It was very interesting to learn about his ties to serving our country through his grandfather and that he had enlisted and that he had been hired to be a spy. Although his demeanor bothered most of these commenting below, I thought he was professional and respectful. I think his disclosure about what the NSA is collecting on each and every one of us is monumental. All of us need to carefully consider what steps we can take to prevent such heavy-handed governmental intrusions into our daily lives.”
“IMO, it makes little difference what or who caused climate change. The facts are that it is here and we need to make decisions about how to deal with it ASAP in order to protect all of the below sea water elevated cities and towns in America and worldwide.”

“But you see, republicans say we CAN'T make decisions about how to deal with it, because we don't have every bit of information about it yet. And it will be hard on the oil and coal industries (*sniff sniff*).”
“I hope that every voter remembers, when they go to the polls the next time, how the House squandered valuable time trying to turn back the clock on everyone after their party led the way (and some Dems did follow) at exporting jobs to avoid paying taxes AND how they still got paychecks anyway, while they screwed everyone else.”
“That fact doesn't change the fact that all of the documentation included with pharmaceutical prescriptions that have been on the market for years contain information about side effects that generally occur only in men.”
“Because most of what you read from the FDA are side effects that apply to men since their studies use male subjects. A spokesperson from the FDA admitted to Leslie Stahl on 60 Minutes about a month ago that women do not metabolize pharmaceuticals the same way that men do.”

“FDA studies are only done on men?? Yeah, that is false.
“"The moment we fragment the Internet it is possible there will be tariffs between borders, there will be rules... it will not be the internet as we know it." IMO, the Internet is already fragmented between Amazon, Ebay Best Buy, etc. Have you ever tried searching for an item on Walmart at a Walmart store other than the one nearest to your location? It takes you right back to that local Walmart site. In short, the thrill with the Internet is already gone for this user.”
“Again, you are not grasping the difference between choosing to use a microwave oven as opposed to everyone around you choosing to use the technology without any regard for how it effects anyone else. Your comments illustrate that you could care less about how your behavior affects anyone else.”

“You don't seem to grasp that you are worried about next to nothing.”
“Again, use of a microwave is by choice which is not the same thing as sitting in an airplane cabin being surrounded by people on iPads and laptops emitting harmful EMF.”
NHBill on Mar 12, 2014 at 05:45:24
“"emitting harmful EMF."
Again the radiation from being at altitude is of far greater concern.
The microwave in your kitchen is more of a risk.
You probably have a greater risk of choking on the free peanuts than suffer any ill effects from the "harmful EMF."”
“One obvious example is those who work for the TSA and their apparent recognition that they can make traveling a nightmare for someone they don't like, or prejudiced public servants who go out of their way to make navigating the bureaucracy more difficult for those whom they do not like (as in racial profiling), or those who work marketing various services and products making marketing calls - in this case, if you berate them for their actions, they start calling you more frequently until you have to report them to the Do Not Call registry, or even scientists and medical doctors who promote questionable science, or pharmaceuticals for a quick buck.”
Joseph Zelinski on Mar 12, 2014 at 19:07:40
“Who are these people that the TSA does not like? How is the TSA able to like or dislike anyone? Although race profiling is done it is also illegal. Marketing people why berate them, put your phone of do not call. But that is effective only if you do not have relationship with the company calling you. Scientists are caught pretty quickly when they are frauds, however, people often believe the fraudsters anyway. There is no quick buck in pharmaceuticals because there is never a quick anything with drug research.”
