“well... he's not a nazi so that's a good start in the right direction.
all joking aside, the guy does seem to have a good head on his shoulders. lets see if the 'rightious right' in our country will listen to him (no they won't because they're all protestants)”

“Here is a quote from the same interview: "If the Christian is a restorationist, a legalist, if he wants everything clear and safe, then he will find nothing. Tradition and memory of the past must help us to have the courage to open up new areas to God. Those who today always look for disciplinarian solutions, those who long for an exaggerated doctrinal ‘security,’ those who stubbornly try to recover a past that no longer exists—they have a static and inward-directed view of things. In this way, faith becomes an ideology among other ideologies. I have a dogmatic certainty: God is in every person’s life. God is in everyone’s life. Even if the life of a person has been a disaster, even if it is destroyed by vices, drugs or anything else—God is in this person’s life. You can, you must try to seek God in every human life. Although the life of a person is a land full of thorns and weeds, there is always a space in which the good seed can grow. You have to trust God.” - Pope Francis”
It's not like Wells Fargo, or the entertainment industry, or Silicon Valley make up the majority of the economy in California. It's definitely those real murkan farmers and stuff.”

“You need to read a little more. The USDA makes for fascinating reading. Included in these areas are ranching, crops, & energy production. The GDP of these areas equals billions of dollars for these States. You are a liberal elitist that seems to think these things just show up at the grocers.”
“'Plus sized' is the result of a poor diet plus a sedentary lifestyle with a dash of laziness.
The amount of people with a medical condition that are fat are low in number yet a large number of Americans are obese.
Get outside, go for a walk, and do not gorge yourself on butter sticks fried in butter.”

“That's what you think. The number of Americans with diagnosed thyroid disease is 20%. I have lost 68 lbs since starting thyroid meds and am still losing. I haven't changed a thing. I've been eating clean and healthy for years. I was morbidly obese by the time they figured it out. There are surely many more undiagnosed because It often takes a while to show up on blood tests because your body will ramp up production of thyroid stimulating hormone. Or, your numbers may look normal, but you have raging anti-bodies against T3, which isn't normally tested for. I have a friend who became morbidly obese due to a back injury causing too much pain to exercise. She got surgery, and got down to be really small. I know someone with autoimmune disease who is medicated, but her pain increases greatly during and after workouts. She tried it for a while and her pain just kept getting worse. Unless you know a lot about diseases that can affect body weight, you have no place making blanket statements.”
“Who in their right mind would send any republican abroad? They're the sole reason we are looked upon with such disdain overseas.”

“Wrong. Obama is a Democrat. Consider how the world views his drone terrorism. And now his world-wide surveillance. Not well. You might want to read foreign news journals (translated into English), and the subsequent comments made by foreign nationals. You'll be surprised the disdain afforded Obama.”

“Their policies from the Bushies and that fact that for many decades we've been seen as the "DOG BEING WAGGED BY ITS TAIL" in the middle east, we seem to have to do what that little 'tail' wants us to do. You know who the 'tail' is --- our most favored nation.”

“It's years and years of foreign policy by both parties from Hiroshima to Drones, bribery to sanctions, messing with elections to removing those in power. Past that yeah I agree especially these two warhahks.
Both parties are full of NeoCons”

“That makes much sense. We have a "democratic" senate; a "democratic" white house, and a Republican House of Representatives. So how did you come to the conclusion that the latter are "the sole reason we are looked upon with such disdain overseas."
In fact, most folks, worldwide, look at USA with admiration, and wish they could live or visit here "any day of the week". That is REALITY.”

The most warmongering and hated Republicans amongst the people of the Middle East.”
