Michael Vick Just Adopted a WHAT?

Commented Oct 19, 2012 at 20:45:03 in Canada

“Totally agree with this column. What Vick did was morally inexcusable. He may be "rehabbed" but that is in the media only. Anyone who could do what Vick personally did to these poor animals is truly sick and should be no where near a dog. And I'd probably recommend Child Protective Services review for his kids as well.”

21 Ways to Stress-Free Living and De-Cluttering Your Mind

Commented Feb 13, 2012 at 06:18:29 in Healthy Living

“All these are great ideas. But at a minimum, two of them (the two 45 minute ones) take an hour and a half. If one did everything on this list daily, the day would be 48 hours long. I agree that things have to be slowed down, but adding more things you MUST do to be stress free seems to just add more stress to the day.”

A Chance to Break Through: How You Can Use Crises to Transform Your Life

Commented Jul 26, 2010 at 10:46:50 in Healthy Living

“Thank you for this initiative. For me, as for many Americans today, it is not one big cataclysmic event, but rather the drip, drip of bad news in the economy and the world, while at the same time handling the many smaller problems of daily life (car won't start, have an accident with a deer and wreck said car, volunteering at an animal shelter with all it's heartbreaks and needs, not enough time to focus on family, struggling to make ends meet). These are not overwhelming and pale in comparison to being quadriplegic, as mentioned above, but the overall result is hopelessness and depression, the feeling that things will never be all right again and things will only get worse. I have developed a bunker mentality! I look forward to seeing how others handle their crises, but it helps just to know that people like Arianna and Tony are trying to make things better for everyone, not just the rich and famous.”

“Thank you for volunteering at the shelter with all the other burdens in your life. You are more special than you know.”

“At last there's hope that he'll get out of my life. Does Costa Rica actually have the type of health care system he wants? Well, good riddance!”

Playa Hatin' on Madonna

“Having had a young, impressionable girl who modeled Madonna's "sensuality" throughout middle and high school, I can tell you that those who do not support her are not just responding to her actions alone, but how her actions and messages affected our young daughters. She has a strict code of behavior for her daughter Lourdes but doesn't care how her message and behavior affected ours. For that I can never admire or support her, regardless of her supposed philanthropic behavior. It's always all about her - just ask her brother.”

“Well said.”

urnumbersix on Apr 4, 2009 at 18:26:27

“If the actual perpetrator of the bad "messages and behaviors" can set a strict code for her own children's behavior - what's your excuse? Some things are for children, other things are adult-only. It's called parenting. And yes, it's always about her. LOL! What of it? Why you hatin'?”
