Lindsey Graham Makes The Case For Strike On Iran

“"...Graham told the audience that newly elected conservatives would back "bold" action against Iran..."

Taking bold action a.k.a. starting another war is at the top of the Republican agenda, up there with looking out for rich corporations and the top 2% income earners. Damn the poor and middle class. If you don't have healthcare, "oh well". If YOUR sons and daughters have to fight their wars, "well, someone's gotta do it!" If those wars send this country into economic ruin, they'll still live a privileged life with plenty of food to eat, living in nice cozy homes with medical insurance coverage that you and I pay for, and the big corporations whose profits they put ahead of the American people will get richer...look at Halliburton (do your reach on how much THEY profited off the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan). Republican leaders don't give a sh i t about the average American citizen and it truly amazes me how many people have allowed themselves to be manipulated by their rhetoric. It's kind of like how Hitler manipulated the German people. Scary...”

“I still fully support our President! I think he has done a good job with the complete mess that was handed to him. The economy is slowly recoving in less than 1 year of Obama's Presidency. The stock market is rebounding; the tax credits have also helped tremendously. I have complete respect for his decision to not rush his decision to send 40,000 troops to Afghanistan and I’m sure those who would be the ones going and/or those with loved ones who would be sent appreciate his decision as well. As for the job market, President Obama said all along, during his campaign and Presidency that jobs would be the last to recover. I believe him when he says Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell will be repealed. He is juggling so many major issues and is keeping all the balls in the air. There are many more things that need to be fixed or changed and he is working on it. He’s no a miracle worker! It took 8 years to bring us to this point of destruction! He cannot fix everything overnight. The system just doesn’t work that way.

The very last thing we need is to have more Republicans elected next year who are going to impede the process of change and progress. We also need to think long and hard about voting the “Blue Dog Democrats” back in office.

Time will tell and I will keep the faith!”

“When I first heard that Chicago lost the bid, I thought “the Republicans are going to be all over this and paint it in the most negative light they can find”. Then I realized that had Chicago won the bid, the Republicans still would have found fault. They are the most angry, cynical, bitter, negative group of people I’ve ever seen or heard. It’s not like Obama suspended his Presidency to go to Copenhagen. Having the Olympics would generate jobs & revenue. What’s wrong with that?

I don’t get it…the Republican leaders don’t care about the average American, Democrats or Republicans. They only care about power, big corporations & the wealthy. Why can’t their supporters see that?”

“Because they have a single goal (which they were unable to accomplish in a democratic election), to "make Obama fail".

It doesn't matter what it does to the country, these Right Wing Evangelists will not accept the will of an election, but wish only to destabilize our Government so that they can get their way.”
