“I would have thought that we'd have dismissed Sarah Palin from being connected with reality long before the beginning of the new year.
She hangs-on like the odor and allergic symptoms to mold. There's nothing to be done but let the source dry-up and sunshine take care of the fungus.
She's enjoying her notoriety. That's for sure.
But, the idea that we'd entrust her to make decisions for the whole Country is ridiculous.
The people in high places are working so hard to get rid of her that someone at Fox News said they paid the Producers of "Dancing With The Stars" not to invite her to be on the show.
Shouldn't be be competing on "Biggest Losers" though. That's what she really is, right?”

“The Country IS angry. Segmented anger. But, angry -- just the same!
Military families. Angry! They are angry because the Country has not been called to assist them in the seemingly never-ending and escalating war on terror that sends troops into battle for three of four tours and calls-back reservists who are decompressing form being in the kill zone.
Blue collar workers. Angry. Their jobs evaporated when the economy that the GOP helped to collapse under George W. Bush, is now in a deep recession with unemployment figures in double-digits and the banks foreclosing on their homes, leaving the home vacant and the client homeless.
The People. Angry. After being lied too by the Right-Wing Press who broadcast the terrifying lies about the Obama Health care Initiative and reform legislation intended to lift the Country back toward prosperity; only to have Big Business and corrupt legislators get bonuses while Middle-America gets disregarded so others become rich.
It's not hard to find an angry American.
We have Fox News with their unique way of twisting facts to scare the Country and keep the Right's message of fear and loathing toward the Obama Administration for just that!”

“The GOP guaranteed President Obama wasn't going to deliver on his campaign promises. When Democrat Al Franken won the Minnesota recount; the GOP told Minnesota Governor Pawlenty not to seat a Temporary Democrat for Senate business until the "The Coleman Appeals" were exhausted. With Minnesota's Seat vacant; the GOP sabotaged the Obama Initiatives and piled-on Pork Projects amounting to Billions despite the President Elect's guarantee he wouldn't sign the Legislation with Pork Barrel baloney piled-on.
When President Obama was Inaugurated, the GOP celebrated by sending a Bag Man to St. Paul with nearly $3,000,000 keeping the defeated Republican Senator's appeals process funded for bringing all the way to the Minnesota Supreme Court. A time consuming process that allowed the GOP Senate to craft the New Administrations Legislation their way.
Now, with the addition of Honorable Al Franken to the Senate, the Democrats have a highly responsible new member to give the Dems 60 Votes in the Senate. But, until Franken arrived, the damage was done. The GOP took a sledgehammer to the tablets that Obama sent to have made Law. Now, until those GOP obstructionists, bribe takers and closet racists are unseated by a Democratic challengers; the President will be struggling to scrub-off the graffiti, epithets and insulting language the Republican Party left on everything when they bought the soul of former Senator Norm Coleman and had him commit political suicide for a hopeless case the Minn. Supreme Court unanimously laughed at before throwing out.”

“The heads of Big Insurance signed their names to blank checks they handed to their Lobbyists to do everything in their power to derail the Obama Health Care Initiative. They frightened the elderly into thinking they'd be coached to refuse care when they were diagnosed with a terminal illness.
They sent-out Press Releases with lies to sway the public away from the plan that the Right-Wing Obama-haters embraced as the truth and repeated in their broadcasts incessantly. The Health care Bill became more about Reform than Care; so the Lobbyists distributed more money to persuade the Lawmakers to change their vote. The Dishonorable Gentleman from Connecticut did just that. Other Senators needed to be bribed and appeased with money, promises and rewards.
What they present to The American People in lieu of Health care for ALL dissolved into a worse mess than they made of "Genuine Credit Card Regulation".
Once again the cooks have spoiled the dinner. What was on the menu will not be served. They're going to call it steak, but it's not even close to a good hamburger. That's what coming on the plate. Spoiled ground-beef with Hamburger Helper. And, they'll make us eat it or shove it down our throats. Your United States Senate. Best Lawmaking that money can Buy!”

“Gee wizz. Dem's didn't do enough. You don't say! Look at the bright side. You got the Bill out of Committee before the Lobbyists were able to fill-up all those brand-new brief cases with the bribe money and get them all handed-out. There's only a a couple of things that the American People had hoped would be in the Bill. Most of what the Lobbyists needed got in there. It's too bad you couldn't manage to get it passed without its heart and soul. Maybe next time. You know, you should really give The People a chance to offer you guys a counter-bribe as a reward for actually doing the job you got elected to do. It's a crying shame that there are going to be so many people who voted for you, when you promised to represent them in Congress and Senate, be left without a program for their Health needs because you accepted another briefcase for your collection and forgot about the letters and petitions you haven't read that your Aids have for you to read, in theirs. I would give the two co-anchors both Executive Producer and Managing Editor responsibilities and 1-Hour of Live Network "On-the-Air" time, Monday through Friday and get out of their way while the two of them bring the Country "Up-to-speed and Up-to-date" with their unusual takes on the news of the day; delivered with the extraordinarily uncommon but thoroughly enjoyable panache they have with their on-air presence. Commented Dec 21, 2009 at 10:59:11 in Media

“Placing Leno on TV at 10PM, Monday through Friday, surrendered 10PM to just about any competing Programming and was a woefully bad idea before NBC had the idea and found reason to pretend the experiment would work.
Once NBC committed to the scheduling change, Peacock's competitors started promoting their strong 10PM shows; moving around a few others to attract the 10PM crowd to sample something new. Jay was in a tight spot. Caught between 30-Rock and a hard time of night to fight for audience seeking pre-news or pre-snooze escapism. Jay stood before NBC's programmers and refused a blindfold as he faced a firing squad for those NBC Exec's who wrongfully sent Leno to the front line, five days a week, against the competitions strongest dramas and mysteries. The idea should have never got put on paper.
The paper the idea got put down on should have been balled-up and thrown in the trash. The trash that's on NBC replaces good shows canceled before letting them catch-on and grow. A few have been picked-up by competition and flourish in their new time slots on other networks. The payback for alienating audience is obvious when you read the comments on the Blogs of shows that NBC dumped. It's primarily because audience don't want to watch NBC; strictly because scheduling Leno at 10PM was how they saved money canceling shows audiences did watch before NBC decided to sacrifice Jay Leno and piss-off several million viewers.”

“Has any other Senator come forward and told The Truth about what got lopped-off that Health Care Bill and what that had to give to bribe the Honorable Gentleman from Nebraska? NO!
Senator Al Franken is "On the record" telling us not to shake the Big Box because what's in there isn't what we had hoped we'd get for Christmas.
I guess it's fair to say that "Senate-Clause" delivered presents that will have nice bows and ribbons that will make the boxes they decorated make us feel like we were all on Senate-Clauses 'Nice' list, so we'll be getting everything on our list. Nope! Senate-Clause gave all the naughty kids good stuff they didn't even ask for. The good kids don't even get to hear a Lump of Coal tumbling-around in box with our name on it. The box got shook so much by Lobbyists, by the time we'll get to unwrap it, the Lump of Coal will just be dust! That this not-so-jolly Senate-Clause had anything to give to anyone at all, in view of the GOP's outward disrespect and contempt for absolutely "Anything Obama", makes getting anything renew our belief in miracles.”

“The Republicans spent a King's Ransom in a failed attempt to keep Senator Al Franken out of the Senate. The Republican Senatorial Committee would have put a lighted match to the United States Constitution to have prevented just exactly this very moment, where Franken, as a Senator, enforced the Senate Rules.
The Honorable Gentleman from Minnesota is still taking-it-easy, not yet deliberately shaking the cages of them Good-'Ole-Boys which contributed quite generously to the effort to prevent Senator Franken from being seated in their exclusive Gentleman's Club.
As time passes by and Senator Franken has had his fill of the shenanigans the Republican Senators are pulling to disrupt business and deny the initiatives the Obama Administration presents for the betterment of the Country, I expect to have Senator Franken begin letting the People know how badly we are being represented by some members of the Senate similar to the way Michael Keaton took care of business when he heard them say: "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!"”

Although the hard-line GOP Senators know that the Legislation proposed by the Obama Administration is intended to lift this Country from Depression, provide a boost to the economy creating jobs and give nearly 50-million citizens some needed Health Care they presently are suffering without; the Anti-Obama Lawmakers spit upon the Legislation the President asks for, while urinating on The People who trust them to act in their constituents best interest.
Knowing, as we all do, how important it is for the Nation to adopt what President Obama promised us when we went to the polls and chose him to lead our Nation.
But, it is quite obvious, after the reprehensible outburst of disrespect shown to President Obama during a Nationally televised address to the Joint Session, that there are ulterior motives in the way of this Presidents success. Some Honorable Gentlemen are not worthy of being called Honorable. They are despicable and unworthy of holding high office. They are this Nations shame. Now, we know for certain!”
