Israel Calling Obama's Bluff
Commented Jan 04, 2009 at 18:44:54 in World
“Israel can not call President Obama's bluff on anything. Israel really needs to focus on how to create peace and stability in their region. The extremist has already called their bluff and won. It's easy for power hungry countries to send their military personnel to their deaths and then try to reconcile after their aggressions don't bring them to their desire intentions of the aggression. Hezballah proved that point in 2006. Once a cease-fire is concoted all that lost their lives, have been displaced and are severely wounded (physically and mentally) will be summed as mortars, patriots and collateral damage victims. As always, the cease-fire will be broken and they'll do it all over again. So, once again, the extremist win due to their willingness to die and the people that really matter lose because their lives were disrupted and destroyed. There are no viable plans for any government dealing with an entity as such as terrorist or extremist. Israel needs to really be careful, they're surrounded by their enemies and their support is not what it seems to be and especially not what it used to be. I believe President Obama will get this sh*t right on Israel and not cater to or condone their bullsh*t aggression. Also, Hamas and Hezballah will eventually cause significant damage to Israel. With all the technology and weapons (US weapons) Israel possesses they are just like the US in that they can not defeat the resolve of the extremist.”

Who might serve us better in the new future - what does Palestine have to offer? Nothing. Who created these false borders - the UN. Who will unmake these old borders - the UN. How will they remake them - however we tell them too.”

A Role for Oprah in the Obama Administration?
Commented Dec 02, 2008 at 15:17:46 in Politics
“Oprah will always have a formidable base that will follow her lead. She's actually educating and empowering men and women to know politics and how it works. What she says matters around the world. Oprah has brought many good ideas and hope to peoples lives. She's an ICON whether you choose to think so or not. There are several white women who voted for Barack on the strength of Oprah. Her intellect and strength as a woman takes the lead for women who have crisis situations and issues that require knowledge and strength to make things happen in their lives, that on their own they maybe would not have reached or possessed what it takes to better their lives.”
Hillary + Obama = High Drama
Commented Nov 24, 2008 at 16:16:25 in Politics
“I believe this article is much-to-do -about-not hing in the sense that Hillary is the total package for her appointment and will govern it with wisdom, strength, and some personal agenda items that will be good for the country and her. President Obama actually has it made. He's doing the smart thing by surrounding himself with very competent and qualified people. Everyone's forgetting, President Obama can fire any of them at any given time. I also believe that if any of his selection is not performing on his accepted level, he'll replace them tactfully by reassignment. A Secretary of State can be fired! Obama 2012!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!”

Obama Is Killing the GOP With Kindness
Commented Nov 18, 2008 at 14:50:35 in Politics
“This country is so used to the politics of division, it can't get past actually having someone with an agenda to bring every single American together. Dems and repub's alike practice this because has been the way of our gov. for the entire existence of our gov. President Obama has a prolific way about him that both parties can't seem to understand or figure out how to corrupt. Martin luther King was the last man to exhibit these types of principals and morals. It has taken 40 years to produce an individual who is actually on the side of the people and what's rightfully due to the people. The humility, professionalism, earnest and general kindness and care are too much for the 'devils' of both parties to swallow. President Obama is human and will make mistakes. No matter who is in his cabinet, I believe they will be held accountable and President Obama will not hesitate to request a resignation given his agenda is being high-jacked or not administered in the fashion of the people and as he has set forth. True enough Bill Clinton did a world of good for the country and the world, but he didn't deal with anything on the level that President Obama has to undertake. President Obama is compared to the 'Messiah' because everything he does gives one that very impresssion. Obama 2012!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!”

Election Brought Hard-Right Nationalism Into Light
Commented Nov 09, 2008 at 20:47:43 in Politics
“The South is a prime example of this. From the beginng of slavery, to women not being allowed to do much of nothing, hard-right nationalist have maintained a base. There are several hard-right groups throughout the US, just as there are racist groups. The government is aware of them and I believe back those that they themselves share 'the view'. There are a lot of smart and intelligent Americans that believe and know many of the real stories and events our government supports that are unconstitutional. Do your homework, it's out there.”

McCain's Losing Strategy: Double Down on the Anger
Commented Oct 16, 2008 at 12:33:55 in Politics
“McCain is a done deal! Nothing has worked for him or his campaign. Obama deserves an award in humility. He allowed perfect opportunities to bash many things (especially Sarah Palin) and refused. Obama knows he far superior to McCain and all in the likeness of him. McCain was so rattled by not being able to penetrate anything pertaining to Obama, he could only get mad. It Puttin or Iran doesn't agree to his wishes, there's no doubt he would seek to bomb them. We stand to lose several thousand American lives if this hothead was to ever be in office. And, no foreign leader will be enthused to work with him. Once again, Obama beat that a**!”

“This is a farce. This woman was planted in the crowd to do just what she's done. She's actually as committable as McCain. The rambling and unsurety of the info was a give away. John McCain needsd to be ashamed of himself for using this elderly woman as a 'pawn'. I believe this is an ethics violation and spreading of hate. I also believe he will be reprimanded for his campaign activities.”

VP Debate: McCain's Big Gamble Comes Up Snake Eyes
Commented Oct 03, 2008 at 02:32:30 in Politics
“Ms. Huff you were gracious in this article. The realism is that for whatever reason, some Americans actually thought this woman did a good job tonight. Still, after all this revelation of Sara palin, the rational thinking of some overwhelms me. McCain is ruined, she is ruined, the Republican Party is toast and hopefully the American people will end up the winners in this most unusal election. Joe Biden was a professional asset to Oama tonight. He can say whatever he likes, i'm inclined to believe he knows what he's talking about.”

McCain Lost the VP Debate Too
Commented Oct 03, 2008 at 02:00:57 in Politics
“Pat is an idiot and so is Sarah Palin! That was still ridiculous even though she didn't fall on her face. She never answered the questions and look like she was a 'Cyborg'. That woman's life is ruined! Now the real media gets her. Her dumb*ss will not stop taking cheap shots at the media. It's been proven she'll be picked apart as if a buzzard got hold of her. Many news agencies want a shot at the title with her, it'll be interesting to see which she blackballs.”
lemonyashes replied on Oct 03, 2008 at 06:24:18
“The reason Pat Buchanan is so smitten with Palin is when he himself was a nominee for president Palin did something (I don't know whole exact story) that showed she endorsed Buchanan. When Pat heard that he started gushing over her and she can do no wrong as far as he's concerned. Had Palin not endorsed Pat he'd be far more objective, because before he heard of her endorsement he was not too happy she was McCain's choice. So where Palin is concerned Pat is not credible, how can he be hard on her when she was one of the few who endorsed him when he was running.”
