For me, February has always been the gray limbo month sandwiched between January (a time for relaxing after the holidays) and March (when spring seems just around the corner). In the Northeast, especially, February is cold, dark, and rainy.

If people adjust well to a ten-month year, we can jettison June, July, and September for being too hot. In fact I think we should aim for a four-month year consisting of April, May, October and November. Eternal spring, eternal fall!

“Oh wait! My birthday's in February! Although I really don't need any more birthdays, I've had plenty and am happy to cede my birthday allotment to others. But I plan to stick around for awhile longer, just skip the birthdays.

Tell me what's your beef with February? We could start a whole revolution based on our opposition to certain months of the year. What a novel idea......

What other months shall we get rid of? Any suggestions?

“It was obvious to me before Levi said something. I held my nose a few months ago and watched a FIX morning show called Mike and somebody? (I forget).

Well anyway they showed a clip of her at home. A vanity piece showing her around the house and her husband would not even respond to questions she asked. He was really cold and aloof when she barged into the study where he was on the computer and he pretty much ignored her and the camera guy while she yakked it up.

It was very transparently fake on her part and sad on his part.”
