I am satisfied career politicians are the wost thing that has happend to this country, regardless of the balony service to country they espouse. This is NOT sevice to country, it is the pilaging our our country.

“Well I have to say the TV pundits are scrambling to find relevance in this post-election environment. Most of foolish commentary is off-base, they clearly don't understand economics or security issues.
So what we hear is not much more than ranting trying to drum up viewers. Watching Matthews this afternoon was an example, he went on a rant about the stock market as a "score-card" for Obama. I guess he has decided the stock market is no longer a score-card for Wall Street and other business executives.”

According to the lobbyist that runs his campaign, Rick Davis she will not be interviewed until she is ready..... "READY". What the hell is this. She is not READY to answer a question from a reporter but she is READY to step in and take over the presidency.

McCain's Road To Victory
Commented Sep 06, 2008 at 14:33:44 in Home
“I like the way republicans are all of a sudden enthralled with executive experience ......
GW Bush, McCains mentor has much more executive experience than Palin. He was the governor of a state with 23 million people vs Palin a state with 680,000 people, no state income tax, no sales tax...full y funded by oil revenues.
Your experienced republican President is about to add 5 trillion in unfunded liabilities to the taxpayer.. ..who benefits, the executives of Fanni Mae and Freddie Mac, they will still get their golden parachutes, even though their vast executive experience has put the two largest mortgage institutions in the can... they now want the very people they foreclose on to pony up tax dollars to save them. Five trillion dollars, that will bring the debt to about 57 trillion dollars, short-term and unfunded liabilities. We need change, it was going the other way under the last democratic administration
I will take intelligence, and a President with genuine concern for the middle class over your elitist executives and oil mavens.
Bush-McCain and Palin are just 4 more years of failed policies.”

“McCain cannot dig out of the ditch he is in. Nuclear power plants and drilling to solve the gas prices.
Think about this.. 2 percent of our electricity is generated by oil, if we had 50 new plants, we would have lots of electricity but transportation would remain 98 percent dependent on oil.
If we drill every drop of oil we own "right now" OPEC will simply cut production by that amount to keep prices where they are....... use our domestic oil you say, we now use 25 percent of the oil used in the world our best estimates for oil in this country and offshore is about 3 percent of the worlds oil.
We need truth from these candidates, and McCain's push for oil and push against ethanol is ignorant, or is just part of the oil lobby game.”

“Four more years of Bush...... ... it would seem likely if McCain would win this election. The evidence is becoming clear, he has now hired a Rove hack to run his campaign.. ....and the campaign is starting to use the same deceptive tactics and lying Bush used in his campaign. This morning one of his VP possibilities the Gov of Florida, basically signed on to the "Obama want to lose a war" smear that McCain has put out. Sounds a lot like Bush/Cheney don't you think.
It is not a big leap to believe he will use the same type of deception to run the government, and keep us in war for another 6 or 8 years.
You got to wonder who is running the press is on this stuff..... ... they seem to think it is bigger news to talk about non-issue headlines and keep McCain ads running on free air time...... ..... maybe Obama deserves some free ad time for his message.”

“BEST COMMONSENSE SOLUTIONS TO GAS AND ENERGY?
DEMOCRAT SOLUTIONS:
The Democratic Majority is refusing to address soaring energy prices. Two years ago, Majority Leader Pelosi promised the American people a “commonsense plan” to lower gasoline prices and to sue OPEC. But House Democrats have failed to offer any meaningful solutions. Meanwhile we are paying the Pelosi Premium of nearly $1.50 MORE per gallon than when she took office.
REPUBLICAN SOLUTIONS:
1. Increase the production of American-made energy in an environmen tally-safe way This includes the exploration of next generation oil, natural gas, and coal and the production of advanced alternative fuels like cellulosic and clean coal-to-liquids – all while protecting our natural resources for future generations.
2. Promote new, clean, and reliable sources of energy like advanced nuclear and next generation coal, while promoting clean power from renewable energy such as wind and hydroelectric power. Nuclear energy has proven itself as a safe, carbon-free and environmentally friendly alternative, with France relying on it for nearly 80 percent of its electricity needs, compared to just 19 percent in America.
3. Cut red tape and increase the supply of American-made fuel and energy. Democrat Party limiting the construction of new oil refineries and bureaucratic regulations mandating the use of exotic fuels have decreased supply and increased the Pelosi Premium.
4. Encourage greater energy efficiency by offering conservation tax incentives to Americans who make their home, car, and business more energy efficient.”

“What a great comment, SDindependent!
The corporate media, the corporate Bush/Cheney buddies and everyone else with an obscene amount of money will do anything they can to defeat Obama.
Because he is the only candidate that represents the rest of us, the vast majority of the American people. Once he gets into office, those crooks and hatemongers are going to be in REAL trouble.
Just for starters, they will start having to pay their fair share of taxes. Of course I hope a lot of them will go to jail or the Hague, too, but maybe that's expecting too much.
I have always been an optimist and I truly believe that not only the good people of Indiana and North Carolina will make Obama's nomination a "slam dunk" but I also truly believe that once he gets the nomination, Obama is going to beat McCain in the biggest landslide in American history. And it will be white working men and women, blacks and yes, even old white ladies like me who will turn out in unheard-of droves to elect Barack.
The "scare and spin" RNC and HRC machines are such a joke and guess what, the laugh is going to be on them come November. As they say, "Bring it on."”
