I must interject that US Senator Barry Goldwater did support civil liberties, gays in the military and choice. His favorite grandson "Ty" was a gay activist and Ty's mom Joanne is a gracious popular lady who I personally admire that also supports gays..
We love everything the Goldwater's represent in Arizona - true Western values, almost libertarian. and totally FREEDOM.
