“I'm in the USA and my cats are not declawed and they're indoor-only. Most people I know with cats have indoor-only cats with claws fully intact. It may depend on the region, but where I live (Boulder, CO) it's viewed as a cruel and unnecessary practice.
I wouldn't want my cats outside due to foxes, coyotes, birds of prey and the occasional mountain lion. Which are all known to prey on cats. Not to mention- it's just plain rude to force your cat on your neighbors.”
