“LOL, actually she did. You see those quotes around "brainwashed"? That's me quoting the author.

Here's some helf for you, since actually reading the article seems to be a bit of a challenge for you:

"Similarly, women have been brainwashed into believing that because a C-section can be planned it's therefore preferable to a normal birth--which, again, society sees as messy and inconvenient."

Please let me know if you need any more help understanding the article.”

Um, I'm kind of OK with that. I'm not that hard up for a good orgasm that I need to have one during CHILDBIRTH, ha ha ha ha”

“LOL, for someone who never had a c-section you sure seem to know a lot about it - except you're wrong.

2-3 days with pain and trouble walking from the incision healing. the next 3-4 days, pain (depending on the person, but generally speaking) can be managed with over-the-counter Tylenol 3 or Motrin, and walking, lifting, and carrying the baby are all perfectly doable. Can't speak to the constipation, but by the same token I can't speak to pushing out a poop along with the baby during vaginal delivery, LOL”

“So if my baby was concieved in the back of a GTO that's where I should subsequently give birth - you know, so I could surround myself with all those extatic hormones you speak of? What if I concieved on vacation in the Bahamas? Do I fly back?”

JennyHatch replied on Oct 17, 2009 at 10:10:27

“The mothers who birth with dolphins in the ocean or out in the backyard in a tent and those who birth under the stars have some cool birth stories...

You know what I meant. Point is orgasmic birth is the IDEAL way to welcome a child and it is nearly impossible to achieve that standard when in a hospital setting.

I'm betting that NO ONE has ever had a birth orgasm during a c-section.”

“Soooo, these powerful, strong decision-making women are being "brainwashed" into c-sections and labor inductions?

a woman doesn't automatically become weak and impressionable and incapable of doing what's best for herself if she makes a decision you don't happen to agree with.”

However, it is also true that this is a talent competition, and had she opened her mouth and squawked, she would have been mocked just as roundly as if a conventionally beautifully contestant walked out and did the same.

The difference her is that she was written off before she could even open her mouth, which is why her triumph was so delicious.”

“Agreed. And yes, while it is an awesome thing that we have a Black President, the fact is, there is STILL so much to be done. The NAACP has a LOT of "advancement" to advocate for. Obama in the White House doesn't mean that nobody was stopped by the police, followed in a store, or denied a job today because of the color of their skin.

A great battle was won, but the war is far from over.”

“Hey Jill, where were you when Obama was being attacked non-stop over his "bitter" comments, and Hillary went right along with it?”

pmorlan replied on May 27, 2008 at 06:58:27

“Where was she when the media refused to cover Edwards except when they attacked him and the Party never stood up for him?. Where was she when the media demanded that he leave the race and the Party didn't stick up for him? Where was she when Dennis Kucinich was excluded from the debates and the Party never stood up for him? Where was she when Biden & Dodd were ignored by the media and the Party never spoke up?

The point is that each of us had a favorite candidate and each of those candidates were not treated kindly by the media or the Party at certain times in the race. While we sympathize with some of Hillary's supporters we resent that they think that they are the only ones whose candidate was unfairly treated because it's just not true.

The fact is that Hillary Clinton is not going to be the nominee and her supporters need to come to grips with that fact just like the rest of us had to do when our candidates were dismissed. They also need to stop trying to take down Obama just because their candidate is on her way out of the race.”

inspectormerlot replied on May 27, 2008 at 06:43:30

“She didn't just go along with it - she exploited it time and again. This is the loyal democrat who actually stood up there in public and spouted into the cameras that the Republican candidate had the experience to be C-in-C and her fellow Democrat she tried to paint as just having a speech!
Maintained her dignity? Lying bare faced to innocent rallygoers in Ohio and Texas about being under fire in Bosnia while they were swallowing every word!
This candidate who's agreed to Democratic rules when she thought they weren't a problem for her and then changed the goalposts again and again when they didn't suit her? This loyal Democrat who's tried to paint the Democratic Committee's rules ( which her key surrogate McAuliffe fought for) as being akin to civil rights abuses such as Mugabe's, slavery, segregation?
This devoted Democrat who has tried to exploit racial divides in a way which the Republicans have never dreamed of doing? "It's ok to vote for someone like you" `hard working white Americans"...

Please.”

Just wondering how your work on the campaign's finance committee is going. Is all this mysoginistic ranting getting in the way of raising money for Hillary. She's getting in deeper and deeper. Are you and your husband hoping to stay in the Lincoln bedroom again? Just wondering, you never talk about that anymore. I can't imagine why. Maybe one stay was enough. Or, maybe your article here would not seem to be too legitimate then would it? Just wondering, Jill.

Disclaimers, Jill. Tell the truth, not just the wild rants.”

“The concern of the American people is that Obama may be "Trigger Happy" and way too quick to push buttons. That is a great concern, especially in foreign policy; will he get angry as the President and start another war? This time a nuclear war. Today and yesterday he showed to the American public, he is way too quick to attack and not think things through. He claimed to be diplomatic in his approach towards terrorism. Yet his angry retort to take on President Bush and McCain anytime anywhere sounded more like a gang fighter on the streets than a Presidential response. The American people have spoken and we do not want him for President!”
