“Romney has yet to offer a serious, well-thought-out plan for jump-starting the economy. Insisting that we can create jobs by lowering taxes on the wealthy, dropping regulations on business, cutting government programs and raising defense spending is not good enough.”

“The very best plan to create jobs and jump start the Ameican economy is laid out in "Back to Work" by Bill Clinton. It is easily understood and broke down to explain how things would help the American joblessness, the economy, the ecology in a manner that fits easily in with Democratic ideals as well as traditional Republican ideas (the king that are not just obstructive and for the very wealthy). Everyone should read it. It is available in most libraries.”

“Have anybody read about governorship mitt rommey in massachusetts. Obama is leading him in that poll by 30 point. There is something wrong with that picture now I see why mitt never talk about his experience as governor because before he left he was less popular governor with a 39 percent approval rating. During the debate mitt looked like he had to much sugar in his system byj jumping all over the place without waiting for his turn. What kept in the dark will come to light with mitt rommey lying. All the factchecker stated he lied In the debates and Obama let him get away with it.”

“Hopefully we can get the Republicans back into power in 2012. Then we'll be set with another couple of unfunded wars, unfunded tax cuts, unfunded increases to Medicare, and of course some rigorous right-wing ideological views to keep the Christian Conservatives happy.”

“Mr. Romney proved to have a taste for vetoes, killing legislative initiatives in his first two years at more than twice the rate of his more popular Republican predecessor, William F. Weld, The Boston Globe reported in 2004.

Some seemed almost designed to rankle legislators: one rejected an increase in disability payments to a police officer who had slipped on an ice patch. Others reflect his ramrod-straight views on ethics and government waste — knocking down a special pension deal for a state legislator; rejecting a subsidy to Medicaid payments so nursing homes could provide kosher meals to Jewish residents.

“He seemed to take great delight in vetoing bills,” recalled his director of legislative affairs, John O’Keefe. "Some of the bills we would chuckle when we wrote the veto message.””

“have your read the governorship of mitt Romney in Massachusetts before he left office his approval rating was 34 percent. he lied before he became governor than once he got into office he change his position. if he is elected your will be very disappointed wishing that your voted for Obama trust me. he did cut education in Massachusetts and spend more time vacation and out the states . if he can not govern as a governor how you expect for him to govern this country by going to war with Iran. right now obama is beating him in that state by 30 points. he made all the republican lost their seat in that state.”

“I am really scared of Romney, all I see in my city are Romney signs. Why are people believing his lies and not seeing the truth of Bain, his holding in companies that went overseas, his hiding of money overseas, his war mongering, his hate of America's middle class, does not believe in feeding the poor, helping the next generation of kids to go to college, but most of all how he misgoverned Massachusettes. I can only say that people hate Obama for his skin color, a well educated, self made, intelligent man who has done a great job under the circumstances he has been given. Shame on Romney for pushing the most vile hate in this country by letting people believe the worse. He will divide and destroy this country that after four years, we will not recover from. I laugh everytime I hear him talk about jobs when he was the one that mastermind the jobs overseas for greed.”

“48 percent favorable, 30 percent unfavorable. Romney is expected to lose Massachusetts by 15 to 20 points in November.Mitt Romney was governor of Massachusetts just six years ago Obviously, he also does not mention just how unpopular he was when he left office.
. There’s been too little talk about Romney’s time as governor of Massachusetts, and now that you’re deciding whether to make him our next president, it’s worth understanding just how and , that he’s become known as a flip-flopper—all have their roots in Massachusetts.

Nice article Jason, well researched & well written! Couldn’t agree more with all of your points. Governor Romney” instead of “the former, one-term governor, Romney.”
. He was known as the Govenor who got into office to do nothing. He even sat on a federally madated grants that were suppose to be for the Before he left office he had to say he did something so he pushed out Romneycare which is nearly identical to Obamacare/ Which was a good thing for the residents (my insurance went down again this year). However what Romney did is basically leave it up to the next Govenor to figure out how to make it work -pay for it. has skeletons in his closet who is he never heard of him.. Theres a reason why he dont want to visit Mass whats done in the dark comes to the light .”

“In 2005 Romney vetoed a bill that would have expanded embryonic stem cell research even though his wife, Ann, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, had recently said she hoped that same research could help cure MS. The legislature ultimately overrode the veto. Romney would later veto an emergency contraception bill as well, only to see that one overridden, too. The growing sense that Romney viewed Massachusetts as merely a steppingstone did not go over well. By November 2005, a Suffolk University/7 News poll found that his favorability rating—47 percent a year earlier—had plummeted to 33 percent, while his unfavorability rating had rocketed up to 49 percent.”

“Why his record and abysmal record as governor is not front and center in this campaign is a mystery to me. Everyone should be looking to the people who actually experienced what it was like to be governed by him.”
